Fortunately you are not God, and he did not do it by His hand but by the word of His mouth. How you would have created the universe is irrelevant. God told us exactly how He created the universe in Genesis 1. He did this in 6 days and by the genealogies we calculate the creation about 6000 years ago. He also reiterated this in Exodus 20:11, "For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy."

You are pretty arrogant to think that you are smarter than God. God created all of the laws of science, I agree. But the mechanism to create by evolution is a cruel way to create, the struggle for existence, the survival of the fittest. Have you read, "The Origin of Species" by Charles Darwin? There is no compassion, no helping out of others anywhere in that book. This book is the foundation of communism, nazism, abortion, eugenics, etc. Evolution has given the likes of Hitler, Stalin, the founders of Planned Parenthood reasons for murdering millions. They believe that they are helping evolution.

I don't know any creationist who would ever consider evolution a theory. It is an hypothesis and not a very good one. The more evidence they find against this hypothesis, the more they shout fact, and the more evolutionist must create rescue devices to save their failed hypothesis such as inflation, punctuated equilibrium, Oorts cloud, and the latest is iron to help preserve the recent discoveries of soft body parts and red blood cells in Dinosaur fossils for 60 million years. There are others. And whenever I ask an evolutionary scientist for evidence, they either give me evidence of small changes or speciation (which no one is arguing) or they tell me the we are here and that is why they believe in evolution.

I have no idea what you are talking about here. I didn't know that you witnessed an algae evolving into fuel producing species. And what do you mean by dog evolution? Are you talking about different species of dog? Creationist have been arguing about rapid speciation for decades. There is a difference between vertical evolution and horizontal evolution. Do things change? Absolutely! Does fish evolve into people? Absolutely not!

I could go on and on but I have to stop. I could not believe in the Bible and in evolution at the same time. The entire scenario of when things were created is completely opposite of the evolutionary myth. Study stellar evolution, geologic evolution and biological evolution and the entire Geologic column of when things were supposedly evolved and then study Genesis 1 and write them down. You will be amazed that they are complete opposites.

Present your so called "closer scrutiny" and collect your Nobel Prize. I'm sure your high school level biology is correct while millions of scientists across all disciplines are wrong.However, evolution seemed to be contradictory to observation and posed more questions than it answered. Single common ancestor evolution is a direct replacement for God's special creation. Making the Bible fit with evolution requires negating the central message of the whole OT, which is that man sinned and by his own efforts cannot be reconciled to God. Of course the central message of the NT, that Jesus died for our sins so we can be reconciled to God, is an answer to the dilemma posed in the central message of the OT. That makes it totally dependent on the central message of the OT. If we put long ages into the creation account of Genesis 1 then we put death before sin: we put death before man was even on the scene. Death is no longer a result of man's sin, but normal, in fact required (for evolution). Death is thus no longer an enemy, which it makes it illogical for Jesus to die to save us from death. In short, long ages contradicts the central message of the whole Bible, and nullifies Christianity.
