That is absolutely despicable behavior. I can’t imagine how a person could be so heartless to do such a thing to these poor defenseless animals and not share any of the meat with me!!! You should be ashamed of yourself.

Dinner club membership has its privileges...
We are all pretty despicable with our lack of guilty conscience about it all...
"Vengeance is mine sayeth the Lord" and all that....

Before the quarantines...
My wife and I usually invited ourselves over to a couple's home for dinner...

Except the punch line was that I was going to cook. I'm a recovered 4star (michelin) chef. I'd do a bunch of prep and then I would cook up a gourmet meal for all of us. Scratch dinner bread and sides and dessert. All they would have to provide was drinks. (Good wine was recommended for non-deacons) Leftovers were always left behind.
It was kinda like a Proud Boys meeting except for a lot less drinking and there are several "minorities" involved... except I really don't think of them as minorities...they are just our friends.

It was becoming a "fought for" membership.

But then the pandemic hit.
*Sigh*
I'm really wanting to get my two shot vaccine soon. In the meantime I'll just have to settle for the three finger-three shot pacifier.

That is how Hitler took over your country, the Jews had no defense.

You really have no idea about history, not even the history of gun rights in Germany. And this has nothing to do with the fact that this painter from Austria (Hitler) and his "friends" killed the Jews. Because the right to bear arms at that time applied to Germans and Jews, to men as well as to women.
Hitler could kill Jews, communists, and Christians because he was legally elected, just as Trump was elected in America. By the way, there are interesting psychopathological similarities between the two men. But this is not the place to explain and prove it.
But back to Hitler, the Jews and the German Gun Law of that time.
Hitler, who hated the Jews for the rest of his life, because he, the mediocre painter, was not admitted to the Vienna Academy of Arts, which at that time had a Jewish director. Anti-Semitism was widespread in German society, and Hitler used hatred of Jews to come to power and expand it by first introducing "light" restrictions on Jews after he had disempowered parliament (the so-called "Reichstag fire" was his pretext for the Empowerment Act, which dissolved the parliament).
And then they really got going, gradually removing Jews from schools, universities, and the film industry, as well as from sport, culture, and appropriated Jewish possessions.
I work in an office of the city of Berlin, where old documents are digitized (I can read the old German script Sütterlin very well); and I can see from Nazi-era documents that Nazis had "legally" stolen their possessions from Jews.
Many Jews had fled before 1938 ("Night of Broken Glass"), others could not or did not want to flee because they were too old, or they considered Germany their homeland.
Then came the Second World War, where Hitler invaded other countries (first Poland, then other countries, where, as in Germany, Jews were rounded up and put in concentration camps, where they were to work for the "superior race" until they died.
Then Hitler wanted Jews to die. They experimented with exhaust fumes, poison injections and shootings (Babi Jar is an example of this). Until you became aware of Zyklon B and used it, shortening the killing machine and making it cheaper.
In a ghetto in Warsaw, Poland, there was an uprising with firearms, which was bloodied by the Wehrmacht. A bronze figure stands there.
Whether Jews were all armed at the time or not, they would have lost their lives in Nazi Germany.
Shame on the German people for looking away at that time, and after the war pretended to know nothing. The trials in Nuremberg speak for themselves, that they all knew, or at least suspected. But they preferred to look away, because they themselves benefited from Jewish property. Thus, the department stores of Wertheim (originally owned by the family of Billy Joel, the singer) were sold for a ridiculous price to a Nazi, Josef von Neckermann (he invented mail order in Germany).
Once again for the very stupid: whether Jews had weapons or not would have done them no good, but would have harmed them because Nazi pigs had the power.
The US has two problems: lax gun laws and a lot of racism. At the moment, there is a President in the White House who is more like a mafia gangster than a president.

Not quite right! Germany has about 80 million inhabitants, the USA has more than 340 million inhabitants, which makes a ratio of 4.2 if I am not too bad in my head calculation.
But it's not about which country has more or less inhabitants, but why there are so many murders and suicides with firearms in the US, and in Canada, where, statistically speaking, there are almost as many firearms per inhabitant, but there are still fewer murders and suicides (170 in 2019).
It's a problem that you have in the U.S., and unless you do anything about it, there will continue to be school massacres, rampages, and deadly neighborhood disputes. If people continue to die out of fear of the stranger, people will continue to arm themselves out of fear. Gun sales rose in the U.S. after Biden won the election. And, weapons in the hands of fascists like the "Proud Boys" and "Christian" militias is not a good idea, because it brings the US even closer to the abyss, makes it a banana republic.

Ok you only addressed one of the four contributing factors that I mentioned and still didn’t provide any actual advice on what needs to be changed with the current gun laws. Population was only one contributing factor and let’s keep in mind that the goal is not to reduce homicide by guns it’s to reduce homicide all together.

I did a little bit of research. In the Weimar Republic (1919-1932) everyone was allowed to own a gun, only for carrying in public they had to apply for a special document. During the Nazi era (1933-1945), Jews, including Albert Einstein, were taken from arms and banned from possessing weapons. The same was done by social democrats, communists and all the enemies of the Nazis.

Germany, too, is struggling with terrorists, gang crime and mafia groups. And they, too, are violent. Mostly not with pistols and rifles, but with knives, batons and iron sticks. Firearms are rare among Arab clans. If any of you understand German, here is the link to a German newspaper about a current case:

Clan-Krieg in Berlin eskaliert immer weiter

I quote from the article:

In a video recording available to the B.Z. can be seen in the square in front of the Gesundbrunnen-Center about 20 thugs screaming in Arabic, a Chechen (43) lying on the ground and punching him. In addition to a van, three men hit another victim, 31. (...)
Chechen gangs have been playing a role in the capital's criminal milieu for years. There is visible violence in the area, it was said a year ago in connection with the LKA's picture of the situation on organized crime. "The Russian-Eurasian gangs, that's a hard nut to crack."

Ok I had to cut my last post short but what I was saying is that the goal is to reduce homicide not just homicide by guns. Obviously if people who want to commit homicide don’t have access to a gun they will resort to other methods. Here’s a website comparing crime rates between America and Germany. Germany even has more police officers than America despite America’s population being four times larger. Like I said there’s a lot more than simply gun laws to consider in this comparison. With the crime rate so much higher in America citizens need to have the right to protect their family.

More people in America commit suicide by firearms than actually killing other people.

Women tend to use poison for homicide than use a firearm.

Jesus told them to get swords because He was going away.

Luk 22:35 And he said unto them, When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye any thing? And they said, Nothing.

Luk 22:36 Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.

Im sure more people are killed by drunk drivers than homicide or suicide. Possibly more than both put together.
