I'm still trying to figure out what science all of them talk about? E coli that after billions and billions of generations and mutations are still in the end, E coli?

Dogs that after years of breeding have many different variations or breeds, but are still Canidae?

Cats still Felidae?

I mean come on. There is not one bit of science that agrees with evolution, it all agrees with Kind after Kind. Merely differences in infraspecific taxa. Not traceable beyond the last darkness.

Speciation can lead to large, diverse changes... over time. The issue isn't that 'kind' can't change from 'kind', but that we haven't been doing science long enough to see the larger changes arising from smaller ones.

How do you define 'kind' to begin with?

As people have told you a thousand times, things don't lose their ancestry in evolution.

Domestic Cat Kind - > Felidae Kind -> Mammal Kind -> Tetra-pod kind

We're all for kind after kind, but we can just see the evidence that kinds branch into different groups.

You will see the accusation that only Christians in name only accept the theory of evolution, even though that would be most Christians in the world.

For many Fundamentalists that is perfectly in line with how they see the world. Back in my Fundagelical days an important part of the narrative was that the ratio of "Real Christians" to fake Christians was that there were far, far more fake Christians in the world than real ones. They either weren't really Christian because they went to the wrong churches (Catholics, Lutherans, Methodists, etc), because they were simply raised Christian but never "made a personal commitment to a saving relationship with Jesus Christ", or any many number of reasons.

It is in this mindset that the figures that the US is something like 80% self-identified Christian didn't actually mean anything, because most of that 80% weren't Real Christians--they couldn't be, because after all the US "is being taken over by godless secularists and atheists (etc)".

As such it is always a boon within that manufactured narrative that most Christians weren't this or that, because that meant being part of God's special club; being one of the few true believers, a special sheep in a sea of goats.

I am sure that this has been explained to you before, but there is no "change of kinds" in evolution. So what would you expect E. coli to become but E. coli? Part of your problem is that you cannot even come up with a consistent definition of "kind". But if you use "kind" as being synonymous to "clade" that problem goes away.

There's also the fact that Christianity in the US has been effectively hijacked by the conservative movement, and their Ayn Rand-inspired philosophy (ironic as Rand was an atheist who hated Jesus).

They love to use you guys to bolster their numbers when they claim to be the "moral majority", but kick you to the curb with you say anything about science.

I accept evolution. It has never entailed belief, emotion, or conflict with my faith. It is the central unifying theme of biology, and the evidence for it is overwhelming.

This is the effusion of a fanatic. Totally deluded, given over to confirmation bias. We're really not actually discussing 'causality.' This is about you.

You have everything invested in this. How could you possibly even entertain the thought of beginning to extricate yourself from the cult you are in?

I fear you are too far gone. You gloat over the thought of the conflagration of the world. Oh dear.

We don't own guns in my country. The government bought them back from the owners, paid them their worth and destroyed them all. We all know nobody 'carries.' How cool is that?

We finally abolished the death penalty for all states in 1967. In Queensland it had been abolished in 1922.

The DP has a brutalising effect on society. These progressive ethical laws were the result of reason, based on Universal Human Rights, ethics based in secular discourse.

Free thinking is nothing to be frightened of. Maybe some people prefer conformism, or is it control. Is it a penchant for formulaic thinking, odious, horrible 'teachings?'

Proscriptions against even being gay, deemed a vile disease, curable by Jesus. Not to even entertain gay people's rights, such as to marry. The forbidding a woman rights over her own body and life. Stamping out stem cell research. Euthanasia, the right to die with dignity when the one realises they have to, they truly want to die and escape the suffering.

Not this little black duck. I'm not guilty of forbidding any of it. Those who do bear a heavy onus.

Evolution isn't something one 'believes in.' Substantive knowledge is based on sound, unfalsified, and continually verified evidence and extrapolation from it, as Charles Darwin had done by 1836, on the voyage of the Beagle.

Humans still Hominidae? Yep, they sure are. Do you accept humans sharing a common ancestor with other apes?

That's because we didn't evolve from monkeys, but a common ancestor of monkeys.

OK....why are there not transitional species?

Why is there not many examples of intermediate species?

What features would a fossil need in order to be transitional between modern humans and a common ancestor shared with chimps?

It is my experience that creationists will refuse to accept any evidence for a transitional, no matter what it is. Am I right?

Surely you have been here long enough to have seen numerous examples posted. Do you need to see them all again?

One at a time please....
And don't call me Shirley.

My question was why aren't there more examples.
In a random, non designed theory, I would expect more
than 50% of species to be examples of an intermediate species.

If you were scientifically inclined, you would know perfectly well that
all evidence must be questioned till the cows come home.

Because there has to be a reason why the overwhelming majority of biologists, who presumably know something about biology, sign up to Evolution. And they do so irrespective of whether they are atheists, Christians, Hindus, Muslims, Jews, Buddhists or otherwise.

That kind of unanimity cannot very easily be explained, except upon the supposition of overwhelmingly strong evidence.
