You did not answer my question, where and when did you study Hebrew? You have been given some very faulty information. I do not profess to be an expert but I have studied both Biblical languages at the post graduate level. I have Hebrew lexicons and grammars in my personal library. What makes you think anything was changed? I have heard these claims before from various 'sacred name" groups. But they never provide any evidence for thier claims.
For your information there were and are no vowels in Hebrew. ו The letter you are calling a "U" is in fact a consonant. The correct name for it is waw. It can sometimes have the "U" sound depending on which vowel sound precedes it. Much like our letter "W" Sometimes it can have an "oo" sound as in "two." Or an "aw" sound as in law. Or an "o" sound as in "tow."
You said I should study. Googling is not studying. I remind you I have studied Hebrew at the graduate level. All you are doing is saying "I'm right and you're wrong. Am too! Nuh Huh!" I would like to see credible, verifiable, historical evidence as I presented in my previous post, not unsupported personal opinion. Just because something is posted on the internet does not make it true.
Sadly, you seem closed off to learning and expanding your knowledge. I'm not here to spoon-feed you, especially since you obviously have no desire to eat anything other than what lines up with scholars you have placed your faith in. I have nothing left to say since your mind is clearly made up. I wish you well. No hard feelings
Shalom!
