Absolutely not. God will be glorified in everything and everyone.
His glory for our joy. I like it the way one pastor puts it, which is just a rephrase of one verse from the Bible (don't know which).
"God is the most glorified in us when we are the most satisfied in Him."
Of course I want God to be glorified! He is the biggest value there is, and if He wanted us to glorify someone or something He created, what would He tell about Himself? Also, He who did not spare His own Son but gave Him up for us freely, how will He not with Him give us all things?
See the pattern? The supremacy of God in everything, His glorification is the best for us! That is how much He loves us!

Amen to that! I've been listening to his sermons for many months now and I gotta admit, God centeredness of them has shaken and turned upside down every single atom of pride in me. Later; actually a few months ago; I found out that he is a Calvinist preacher. And that's awesome, and I will never force the title upon anyone.

ha ha ha thanks Robs! you have a way of insulting me yet keeping me smiling at the same time, you' seem to be under the impression everyone other than the elect hate God, but according to scripture when we see God metting out justice in the end, it would appear some just didn't know Him, In fact there are tons of athiest right here at this websight that would tell you they don't hate God, and they would follow Him if you could prove His existance to them. I was one of them, I didn't hate God, I just didn't believe in Him, which according to scripture is all that is needed to be excluded from the kingdom of heaven

Aren't you assuming that disbelief is passive non-action?
It seems that unbelief is outright rebellion.
The command to repent and believe is a command, an imperative. It is not a well wish or a suggestion.
To not do those things is to spit in God's face, say he's unjust for commanding such a thing, rebel, disobey, etc.
That's not "neutrality", that's hate!
Further, the bible says that all fallen people are hostile to God, enemies of God, haters of God. Not that people are neutral towards God.

I just want to give caution to some. The Bible warns we will be judged for every careless word out of our mouth. It has been shown that many times those claiming to know truth are deceived. I just advise against saying G-D is this or that simply because you think an interpretation of the Bible is correct. This thread seems more about you being right in your interpretation, and the other being wrong, than it is about honoring G-D and the depths of His wisdom that none can fathom. Please watch your words to one another, speaking in patience and love. There is little fruits of the Spirit here, so I am withdrawing. Blessings to you all.
