My stance on the issue is that the Bible teaches both, and thus, I believe both free will and predestination. This ONLY seems like a contradiction because we only know what life is like WITHIN the spacetime domain...but God exists OUTSIDE of both space and time, as He is Creator. When you take that in account the paradox vanishes...do I completely understand that? Well no, I'm not a Quantum Physicist.

If I had a nickle for everytime I have tried to make that point around here I would be rich.

There's no paradox

"...as many as were appointed to eternal life believed" Acts 13:48

It is a paradox when you understand that God exist outside of our limits of time. From the human perspective we see God as knowing the future but many fail to realize that he not only knows the future but he also occupies the future.

God occupies all of the past, present and future without having to look forward into time. If God had to look forward into time for anything then he wouldnt be an omniscient God.
