Who, according to scripture, was Abraham's seed?

Gal 3:16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

Then, as the OP says: why don't Christians follow the 10 commandments, or the entire Law of God?

Christ said that He was not speaking on His own accord, but according to the Most High God. He said keep His commandments as He kept God's commandments. In the beginning was the Word; and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Christ and God are One: He is not going to contradict His own Father. And, His Father demands obedience. The sacrifice of Christ was not to save us from being obedient children, it was to give us grace for our wretched carnality that separates us from God - so that we don't have to be separate from Him through Christ. It is a seriously big deal; to say that we don't have to be obedient to The Most High God when His own Son was able to do it in carnal/human form is a stretch. God never told us we do not have to follow His law - if we want to be His child.

If you don't want to be His, you can not be obedient to your Father, and continue on. He does not twist our arm.

Gods commandments aren't rituals. What man has done to them is the ritual, and the perversion.

God's commandments are for anyone that want to be His; there isn't any forcing of the hand. If you don't want to His, then don't follow His commandments. But, don't make Him out to be a liar or renege of His word by claiming He does not want us to follow His commandments, or that they are void for some of us.

Nowhere does He say this.
All celebrations and observances are pure ritual.

The Ten Commandments are part of the innumerable, infinite Word of God. The Literal Word of God told Moses the 10 commandments. Whatever God says is the Truth, the Way, the Life and a commandment (if it is a declarative.)

It is the Word of God. They are the commandments of God. It is asinine to believe the Law is an assault, or burden. The Law is the Word of God, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. All things that were created were created by Him.

Where does God, or [the Word of] God ever say that we can stop following any one of His commandments?

If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. John 15:10

Who is the Father of Christ? What are His commandments? We are expected to be just like Christ in uprightness - Perfect. Clearly, we cant; however, we are given the grace to try to be perfect and repent when we come short of perfection - striving toward sanctification just like the notable patriarchs.
You highlighted what Jesus did. Jesus did not say keep His Father's commandments.

Jesus did indeed give a new commandments recorded in Jn 13:34.

Circumcision is a personal matter between my Father, parents, and me. But, to answer a deeper question, it doesn't say anywhere that children of Abraham don't have to be circumcised. That was an everlasting covenant between Abraham, his seed, and the Most High God. However, circumcision isn't a requirement for salvation, and will depend on the intelligence of who is an Hebrew (according to God,) - or seed of Abraham - and who is not. Clearly Christ has told us there are impostors among us: people who claim to be Hebrews but are not. This isn't just spiritual.

The Sabbath is very clearly outlined in the bible canon by the Most High God - given to Moses and the Hebrews.

The Jubilee years are clearly outlined - I own no slaves.

God isn't ignorant or stupid; He knows even those who may be the [unaware] uncircumcised children of Abraham, but still follow Him. He will educate and direct them in their time, because despite their ignorance, they strive toward obedience and the sound of their Father's voice:

Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the Lord hath spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me.

The ox knoweth his owner, and the ass his master's crib: but Israel doth not know, my people doth not consider.

Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the Lord, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward.

Why should ye be stricken any more? ye will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint.

From the sole of the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and putrifying sores: they have not been closed, neither bound up, neither mollified with ointment.

Your country is desolate, your cities are burned with fire: your land, strangers devour it in your presence, and it is desolate, as overthrown by strangers.

And the daughter of Zion is left as a cottage in a vineyard, as a lodge in a garden of cucumbers, as a besieged city.

Except the Lord of hosts had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been as Sodom, and we should have been like unto Gomorrah.

Hear the word of the Lord, ye rulers of Sodom; give ear unto the law of our God, ye people of Gomorrah.

To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith the Lord: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats.

When ye come to appear before me, who hath required this at your hand, to tread my courts?

Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting.

Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hateth: they are a trouble unto me; I am weary to bear them.

And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood.

Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;

Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow. Isaiah 1:2-17

God has always appreciated and demanded obedience. We have grace to fall short because of Christ's sacrifice, but Christ also showed the Law of God isn't too hard for a carnal human to follow. God even highlights this prophecy of Grace through Messiah in a poignant verse:

Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. Isaiah 1:18
Like any Perfect parent, He is willing to help us as unique individuals so long as we review our folly, and strive to eliminate our shortcomings. But, Perfect (or, good/great) parents demand obedience to their rules - especially in their house.

An adversary god may have dominion over this planet for now, but the Most High God owns all things. Creation is His house. Entities in His house follow His rules, or they fall like the Satans (principalities, powers and archons,) and Adam.

Now, I have answered your questions in detail. Please tell me where God says that we do not have to follow His commandments - whether we are Gentile or Hebrew? Only from the Most High God, or [the Word of] God.
Nice bow out. If circumcision is a personal matter why did Paul circumcise Timothy?

I haven't heard anyone say that we aren't suppose to be obedient to the New Covenant law mediated by Christ. Only that we are not obligated to fulfill the Old Covenant law, mediated by Moses.

Moses and Aaron were Godly men but still men, they died. We serve a living Mediator and High Priest.

Plenty of people on these forums are claiming to be Christian, and do not believe we should be obedient to God - or, rather that we do not have to follow the so called "old law" of God, often monikered as the Law of Moses. (The Word of God is God; He has the authority to speak on belahf of God. HIS word is THE Word of God.)

Except, no law is of Moses; The Most High God gave the Law to Moses - it was always God's word. It was always His commandments. This is about being obedient to our Father. A contrite heart is the sacrifice of the upright; we have to daily die to our carnal selves in order to come to sanctification. That means obedience to the Law of the Most High. What separates us from the world if we do not obey God's commandments, or that we treat His Law as a burden?

Are you arguing we don't have to be obedient to the Most High God, or that His laws are inert for some people? When did the Most High God ever say we don't have to follow His commandments?

I don't think people realize the Word of God is God.

Well that is indeed true. Many claim to be Christian and do not believe they need to be obedient to God. Like seeking their own desire that is centered on pride while falsely accusing the brethren while feigning humility. Which do you think is more egregious to the Lord, that or observing a particular day?

I would suggest that such actions would violate the 3rd commandment about taking the Lord's name in vain.

Exodus 20:7 (NKJV) “You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.

"take" in that verse, the Hebrew behind has the meaning of carrying, representing, respecting, demonstrating, etc. While commonly viewed as a negative verbal offense of God's name, it actually has a deeper meaning in how those who claim to be of God actually carry or represent His name to others.

And it would violate BOTH of what Yeshua said were the greatest commandments.... Love the Lord and Love your neighbor.

That is why I said LINK ME.
I don't know how to link you to a specific post and I was not aware that your post #s would show up differently then mine. I never run into that issue before.

Here is a copy/paste..

The 10 Commandments are the Old Covenant made with Israel at MT Sinai. It was only given for a time until....and it's mediator was Moses.
Gal 3:19 Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.

Jesus was the Seed who would come and that the promise was made to. He is the mediator of the New Covenant.
Gal 3:16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

Heb 9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
Heb 9:15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

Jesus and the Apostles gave us instruction in love and good works and the commandments of Christ are written on our hearts.

The prophets were not preaching about commandments of nebulous, vacuous infatuation (i.e. claiming you love someone but you don't respect or follow their rules.) Christ never once said that we do not have to follow His commandments. Humans started the idea of being able to get to heaven without showing an ounce of faith (i.e. obedience.) It will damn a lot of people - not because obedience leads to salvation, but because Christ specifically says that if you love Him you will keep His commandments just as He has kept His Father's commandments. Christ is using repetition as a literary device to highlight John 1:1; He wasn't saying He had a NEW set of law; He is the Law. And, we should delight in the Law of God because it is Good. I mean spiritually, socially, economically, technologically and medically. Why are 600 laws considered a burden when the majority of them should be common sense? His Law is forever.

Christ is the Word of God, who was with God, who was God. Every time you see "And the Lord God SAID..." that is Christ speaking to a human - the literal living Word of God. Therefore, Christ would not contradict His own words by claiming we do not have to follow His commandments He previously set up. He would not tell His disciples "just love" Him; He told them to be Like His Father - perfect and upright.

If a human or any other entity contradicts the Word of God, then it is a liar. However, I know the prophets in the OT and NT are not contradicting God. Doctrines have done this.

Show me one place where Christ or God say that we don't have to follow His commandments anymore.

Loving God with all of our might and strength included obedience - what son or daughter has the audacity to claim they love their parents with all of their might and strength, yet they do not follow their parents' rules? It is a delusion to believe you can love a parent without being obedience.

Loving your neighbor as we love ourselves is a tough one, because it is clear the majority of people do not love themselves by the way they treat themselves and others. So very few would make it to loving their neighbor, and even less would make it to loving God. That is why a bunch of Christian "believers" will be utterly surprised when Christ says they never knew them. It is already written.

I know about feigned, or even false humility, particularly because I get accused of it often. If this is your intimation, then I am not offended, although I would hope you would come to realize someone (not even speaking about myself necessarily) can have fiery zeal for God, and truly be humble(d) before Him. I am zealous for Him because I should have been dead several times over in my life if it wasn't for Him saving me, and He has taught me how to be a man of God since I was a child. He never left me, which is phenomenal considering the family I come from. It isn't false for me, but I can understand if you believe I am coming as that type of cliche messenger.

I actually was ignoring you, but for the sake of others looking in, I think this would be a good time to respond.

Anything that begins with, "And the LORD God said..." and "And, Christ said..." are the commandments of Christ. John 1:1.

Christ is the literal Word of God; His laws will not differ from His Father's laws. He doesn't speak on His own accord, but by His Father's. He is the Word of God in the avatar of a human body.

That is why it is asinine to believe there is a separation between Christ and God, and even more so that there is an alleged different law between them.

What did Jesus preach? What was His MAIN message? It is part of His commandments

Can you quote them? So far you haven't. Here is another hint:

“Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.

here is another hint. If you keep the commandments of Jesus, you automatically keep the Father's. But if you only keep the Father's you are not keeping the main one that will save you.
