It is corrupted from the original. I mean I'm surprised that ll they let your religion I as part of the club. I have read lots of unkind words against your religion yet your all one big happy family if it's against those darn Mormons. It is funny to me that you claim we have the other gospel when it is really you guys who changed it from the original.

If the whole of Christianity would say we are not---then I would have no choice but to agree with them and stick to what I believe, regardless of what it is called. If Christianity kicked us out---so be it. As a kid I remember times when some people, and even today, still refer to us as a cult and unchristian. Whatever we may be called---you are not a part of mine, or of any other faith!! However, our believes are biblically based---throw EGW out the window and everything we believe is still straight out of the bible and nothing would change----there is very little in your faith that is biblical---it is JS, and without what he has declared as scripture, you have no way to back up your believes. Not one of those believes where you and mainstream Christianity differ on have been able to stand up to true scripture. You have not yet produced any evidence where Christianity as a whole has been corrupted---however, you also have not been able to prove that there is a heavenly mother that God procreated with to have these spirit children which are sent to earth as---us. Nor that there are other gods on other planets, nor that Jesus Christ is the brother to Satan, nor that Jesus paid the price for our sins at Gethsemane, nor that wearing special underwear is needed, nor that we have to be married to be with God, nor that there is a Melchiszadek priesthood which has to marry us and baptize us---nothing about secret ceremonies or about being unable to procreate until Satan did us all the great favor of making us fall so we could have babies---nor.............Our gospel stands----without JS, you have no gospel. Every other faith can stand on the bible---only yours does not, yet you want to be the ones that have the truth that you can not prove!! The differences in Christianity is one of interpretation of the written word of God----the differences between Chritianity and you is one of stories that can not be proven ever happened from books that can not be verified from a culture that has not been proven to have ever existed. The Jews are real, their culture real, the archeological evidence is real, their language is real, Jesus Christ read the same scriptures and the Dead Sea Scrolls have proven them the same. It is not us that they corrupted the scriptures, it is your faith that did and brought in made up scriptures and ideas.

It doesn't matter here you are siding with the same ones who still think your a cult because of a daughter who joined the church.

No. I'm siding with them because of what I have found out about your believes. I am even more worried for my daughter, but my position now, is because of your unchristian believes not because she has joined your church. This site, and most Christians know now more of what we believe so most no longer think we are a cult, just some occasionally who do not know the truth of what we believe. See--I did not know the truth about your believes until I found out here, from you guys what you truly believe. I was curious before, I am appalled now!!!

We do not consider her in a cult.

And, I believe her daughter in law is a Mormon, if that is the reference you were making when you said cult. Is it?

So a question related back to the OP.

What do Mormons do with all that space in those huge temples if they are only used for ordinances? Why would they not be made to worship God?

There's a lot that goes on inside the temples, such that every square inch is accounted for space-wise.

Once again, you're accusing us of being ignorant because we don't spit out the answers you're wanting to hear.

How does that reflect the light of Christ?

Answer that question if you want us to answer you.

Light of Christ? Yes, well, that is something that clearly shows what is going on---doesn't it?--Without the light of Christ, it is darkness. The bible spells out what went on in the Temple of God---it spelled out the dimensions of the furniture even. Everything out in the open, except for the most holy Place where only the High Priest could go, and that was for the protection of all concerned. But it wasn't secretive, Non-Jews could not go in, but it still was not secretive. And with the new covenant, and people meeting in homes instead of temples, and everyone, Jew or Gentile, being welcomed, there certainly wasn't any secret rituals involved---Holy, and Sacred---but not secret. For a while they had to hide from the Romans due to persecution, but that was a whole different issue. If there is anywhere where the Light of Christ is needed, it is in His house of worship.----God tore the veil to the Most Holy Place---He was no longer there. Jesus was now the High Priest in the heavenly tabernacle before God Himself. No earthly temple needed, just places to come together to worship God without any priests.

Nice dodge. Too bad it says less about us than you might think.

Basically, the temple is split between facilities where the various ordinances take place, the clerical support facilities (like offices) for the staff who work there, and everyday needs like bathrooms and childcare.

It's all rather quite busy, and room is often at a premium, especially in some smaller facilities.

No. I asked you a simple question that you do not want to answer. The topic is Mormon temples and I am asking that question.

I've never seen a small Mormon Temple, is there such a thing?

It seems that is a lot of room for offices and bathrooms.

Nice dodge----various ordinances is as close as you're going to state. You really think anyone is interested in clerical facilities, bathrooms and daycare??
