LDS Why Do Mormons Build Temples?

First off they were scattered in the area and unlike the Mormons who moved into one area.

That doesn't answer the question as to why they didn't need temples. I thought they were necessary for ordinances.

The NT says nothing about building temples.

Just because there were some false teachers creeping in during the time of the apostles doesn't mean that the church had slipped into full blown apostasy.

No, the early church did not have temples. Where are you getting that idea from? There was one temple and it was Jewish.

No, the early church did not have temples. Where are you getting that idea from? There was one temple and it was Jewish.

So how can you believe only one part of what the Bible has to say and not the other? Cherry picking verses to fit your beliefs does not make a good theology.

The passage in Revelation is specifically speaking of the Anti-Christ overcoming the saints. So it in no way relates to your argument.

As far as the first passage you quoted goes again I emphasize that just because false teachers were coming to the church this does not mean that the church was in full blown apostasy.

As far as the Amos passage goes you are taking it out of context and it in no way relates.

None of those verses show or describe NT Temples.

Please include some verses talking about temples.

Jesus describes that the most false teachers will enter the church or try to in the last days. Probably during this time period.

I don't think so. No one has entered your flocks that are Mormons. They have to be part of your flock. I know I donut want yo be part of your flock. It is corrupted from the original. I mean I'm surprised that ll they let your religion I as part of the club. I have read lots of unkind words against your religion yet your all one big happy family if it's against those darn Mormons.
