Apparently nearly is not enough...:)

The change of a few words doesn't effect theology much. We might argue over a few specific things, but usually we're looking at identical texts and saying they are different. Your idea that they've been meddled with isn't backed up with any evidence at all and, in fact, would say that Christians went along with meddling the text specifically to deceive Jews for some reason. Doesn't really hold water.

If I may...

To be a Christian is to believe Jesus is your perpetual sacrifice for sins against the Torah...and freedom from the Torah judgments for sins committed...and living a new life with new laws namely love god and all mankind and forgiving sins against you ...by faith are you saved...

As for the blood moons it's bogus...and may be leading us to the wrong messiah...peace

Yes! Of course you may!

Thank you for putting it plainly and I agree with that, however, I don't know much or anything about the Torah.

I apologize, I should have stated I don't believe absolutely everything that documentary had stated. I don't believe in the peace they spoke of, however I do believe that Jews and Christians will become as one nation.

Please don't take my tone as confrontational. I tend to be somewhat blunt in language. My point merely was that in discussions, I don't like it when anybody is dismissed by terms like "blinded" or whatever. It is basically calling them stupid in my eyes. When I've been engaged in debates in the past, people have called me blind when it was clear they wouldn't win.

Ah, that makes sense. Again, I'm sorry that has been happening. I didn't mean to use the word like they did, by no means was I thinking it slang for being "stupid". Besides, if they can't defend their faith that just means they have more learning to do. This is a big problem I have with the church I go to, I haven't been taught to do so! and also another reason as to why I'm turning a new leaf. I've asked God to renew my heart, mind and soul. If anyone has been blind, I am the first to admit, is what I'm trying to say.

Blind or not, I,m happy with whatever others call me,
This is the deal for me, how I experience it, each moment one could say.

In the NT it says somewhere that if you have lust to another woman you have commited adultery,
So if I am married and have only thoughts of my neighbours wife,
I am commiting adultery.

So also If I were to go flirting with others beliefs or chasing other lovers,(be it Christianity or some other)
My wife would tap me on the shoulder and, "What,s up, am I not good enough or you anymore?."

So is it not a good thing to be blind to your neighbours wife?

I hope you are able to find what you are looking for. Education is one of the big keys to understanding things and it actually is something not enough people go though prior to going out into the world and debating. I spent a lot of time studying my own faith and some time studying Christianity. I have a Catholic brother so I wanted to know what he was talking about.

Keeping the word in tact in its original form would have made a great difference in the world ....

Jesus said good meal would be leavened.....I believe him ...

When the true messiah does return...there will be peace but the false messianic age comes before the true one...again unfortunately

The Torah really doesn't say anything about the Messiah though. It was before there was even a king, so it was before there was a promise of a future king.

the prophets reveal a coming messiah....new testament and old reveals his new laws and new covenant...new testament also reveals that the false messiah will come first......since the new covenant is a new way and not of the old covenant which was fulfilled by messiah ...its obvious that the false messiah will be from judaism and torah will be his laws

I don,t have a physical wife anymore, it was a picture I was painting to express myself.

Being sent away from home gives homesickness.

Standing at a busy road crossing with voices shouting out their wares,

This way, this way,

There is another voice that says, this is the path.

Not wanting to bore anyone, but so is it for me.

I agree that false messiahs came from Judaism.

jesus was not a false messiah bro....he is hashem son and heir to the throne of heaven and earth..:).....

yet another is sure to come and though he seems to convince jews because he seems to fulfill messianic prophecies he will not be backed by hashem as time will tell

The requirements have not been met and, according to Christianity itself, will not be met until he comes again. If he does, I'll believe him. Until then it would be wrong of me to declare anybody to be the messiah in the same way it would be wrong of me to declare someone to be the next President prior to the election.

What makes you think that in and with Jesus, God has changed His mind?

The requirements to be met can only ever be met once. Ever. They cannot be replicated. Ever.

Universal world peace. Universal knowledge of HaShem. These aren't things a false person can achieve. As to your new covenant, let's look at Jeremiah, shall we?

Jeremiah 31:

31 The days are surely coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah. 32 It will not be like the covenant that I made with their ancestors when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt—a covenant that they broke, though I was their husband, says the Lord. 33 But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Ok, cool, there it is. That's what you're talking about, right?

34 No longer shall they teach one another, or say to each other, ‘Know the Lord’, for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest, says the Lord; for I will forgive their iniquity, and remember their sin no more.

Then where is my universal knowledge of HaShem? Why do you have to tell me to know Jesus if in the new covenant described by Jeremiah EVERYBODY WILL KNOW from the least of them to the greatest. Am I not between the least and the greatest somewhere? Why do you need an Outreach section on Christian Forums? It should be called the Bloody Obvious forums where everybody talks about how true it is if this new covenant is around.

Why do you want me to ignore the words of Jeremiah to embrace something your new covenant? Why shouldn't I embrace the words of Jeremiah and seek a new covenant that fulfills the entire prophecy? Why do you have so many half prophecies?
