I see a Garden.But what you proposed goes beyond what Scripture tells us. Essentially you are saying that there is no conflict assuming that certain things that are not described in Scripture happened. If that is how you rectify the conflict for yourself that is fine; I see it S a stretch.

Um, no, neither evolution nor "science" ever thought that humans evolved from moneys. Perhaps if you'd try to find out what evolutionary theory actually says, as opposed to some strawman cobbled together nonsense version?Why do I have a hard time accepting the idea of evolution? Because, there isn't sufficient enough proof in modern science for evolution to exist.
One large strike for me personally with the theory of evolution is that for decades we thought that man evolved from primates through the course of millions of years. We've thought for a long, long time that we were evolved from monkeys but, turns out we weren't. It has now been completely proven wrong in modern science. So, if that's not to be believed and bogus, what did we evolve from? Oh, that's right, nothing because evolution doesn't exist.

So what are all the dinosaur fossils?Now, on the idea of Dinosaurs I have no idea. I don't believe that they're hundreds of millions of years old but, I have no idea whether they existed or not. It doesn't matter to me personally, dinosaurs are and were cool and It's cool to imagine Dinosaurs walking this planet at one point. It's cool to imagine velociraptor attacks (Who were my favorite dinosaurs as a kid) Whether or not they literally walked the earth is, irrelevant to me. And whether they were wiped by a volcano or by a comet both, are noah's ark like God made national disasters so I can buy the theory that God scrapped them and decided to make humans instead. But, in the long run It's just... kind of irrelevant to me. It's also cool to read Greek and Roman Mythology. That doesn't make Greek and Roman Mythology real. In fact, it isn't and was a very entertaining thought and concept 2,000 years ago.
I think i know some key ideas. Its because it undermines the creation story and that people will become irreligious?
Well wouldnt that be an issue about the idea of the earth is flat if the bible is literal on that part i mean?
What i mean is that science explains our physicial world. The main point i am making is that Creation Story had two interpretations in medieval ages. Allegory" basically a deeper meaning than it is. Or "Literally" like just like it is written.
So basically allegory seems to be the key point then. Since that can be used. Since God is outside our understanding. Science is a method just to understand the world we live in more or less.
So i dont see the problem with evolution, because it doesnt undermine the scripture in the sense of it not being true?
Although i do believe its a shame that more people who lack understanding go away because of ignorance and just dont bother trying to understand why Christianity is a religion to help your life.

You're quoting a passage that says "He gathers the waters of the sea into jars;" in SUPPORT of Biblical literalism??It is a direct contradiction of Scripture which holds that God created the universe in 6 days and this includes mankind. To believe evolution then says God lies to us. It takes away from God's glory.

This doctrine of creation touches upon faith. Many go astray, many doubt, many become atheist over the loss of this doctrine. You may say we can have God and evolution, but it isn't proving so either...we have a sinful nature and evolution in its usual form teaches no accountability. Throwing fuel on the fire then.

The Bible chronicles 333 miracles, none of which could happen according to science. Which of these do you believe? By what evidence do you decide what to accept and what to reject? Jesus said you cannot serve two masters. Where the Bible and science disagree you must choose to believe on over the other. How do you make that choice?The Bible is not a book of science. My faith comes from the Bible. My understanding of science comes from other sources.

Can a person reject much of what Christ taught and still be a disciple of Christ? Can one refer to the Bible as "God's Word" and then summarily reject most of what is written? Jesus never said that all who were deceived by the lies of man would be lost. Faith is the one requirement to Heaven. Ask yourself how strong your faith is if you disbelieve most of the Scriptures. Ultimately, that's between you and the Creator.
