so when god creates the loaves and the fish in the basket as they are being handed out .. that's a miracle
but when he creates the heavens and the earth .. that has to evolve to fit your thinking .. ?he is not able to simply make it So .
and if he is able to make it so , why mingle his immeasurable ability with the limited reasoning of carnal intellect?

do you not view that as limiting God down to your comprehension ?

its not that at times i did not have the same thoughts ..but then i saw where those thoughts were headed..ie - if i could not believe God ..IS GOD . then how could i beleive anything else about him ?

as i asked before .. did he cause the loves and fish to "evolve in the basket to feed the 5000 ?
and if he did not ..then he is able to make something "be" from only his Will .

why not the earth also?

Nothing in the statement of faith prohibits a Baptist from having a belief in theistic evolution.

It all boils down to the individual Baptist's interpretation of the bible. Just because you believe your interpretation to be superior doesn't mean it is.

The problem with evolution is that it requires step by step mutation for it to even work, but many systems in the animals of different kinds are vastly different and thus to say a fish that has half a fish lung system and half land breathing animal's lung system simply won't work, since they are highly complex and only work in their speicalised environment

Yeah it goes against are statement that the Bible is the word of God and is with out errors. As people have been suggesting the Bible has errors that is against are view here.

seems not all do .
but one reason is due to the dishonesty of evolution science .
and a greater reason is

We love the LOrd JESUS!

you know him? the one who is the way the TRUTH and the life .

if we beleive he IS the TRUTH .. then what ever does not agree with him ..is not TRUTH .

how can we love both ?
we cannot serve two masters .

If that's addressed to me, you should realize that I don't believe that views on the origin of life matter to anyone's salvation.

well i admit I did "indirectly imply" that a person who believes in theistic evolution is not believing in God -but i did not intend to lol .
however i am always more interested in the heart of the mater with each individual before God .
as i have said - I too went through a time of wondering if some things ..did not happen quickly ..but evolved over time ..
but then i came to the conclusion that those doubts were based on what ?
faith .. no
the bible .. no
so what were those thoughts founded on .. they were founded on the repeated pounding over the years of school and world of the theory of evolution being bashed across my mind ..
thus i concluded i must choose whom i believe in ,
because If i bring GOD down to my carnal reasoning in this topic .. i risk bringing him down in ANY topic .. and if i do not believe that God is GOD __ALMIGHTY_ then what point is there in believing in him at all ?
so i saw a path that was dangerous in its errors of faith .. and from that time on I chose to simply believe GOD and cast off mans reasoning even though i cannot comprehend HOW God created the heavens and the Earth .

because if we mingle the waters .. the waters are mingled ...

where is your heart at ?will you allow yourself to be given over to FAITH in GOD beyond your own intellectual reasoning. will you allow you heart to be indwelt by GOD so that we take o the mind of Christ as lord over our own minds .
this is far more important then theories about theories
