You can say G-d started the tradition when they crossed the Red Sea before they went to a Mount Sinai where God performed a Jewish wedding ceremony. The conclusion i come to is that what you describe is a tradition which i fail to see how it relates to Israelites crossing the Red Sea.
I was asking for clarification.
have you ever read 1st Corinthians chapter 10 verse 2Anyway, no water touched them when they went through the sea, so how could they have had a baptism to be purged of their sin?

I've read the NT over fifty times, that includes 1 corinthianshave you ever read 1st Corinthians chapter 10 verse 2
Read 1st Corinthians chapter 10 verse two it clearly states that Israel was baptized in going through the Red Sea.Please reference where it is written in His Word that God's intent in parting the Red Sea was to start a tradition?
In addition, the only ones getting "wet" from the Red Sea, is Pharaoh's army, that drowned.

How the waters of the Red Sea was a symbol of the same waters Jesus used to turn water into wine, which is a symbol of His blood that truly washes away our sins. 1 Corinthians 10:2It says they were baptised into Moses, it doesn't say they were purged of their sin.
Two different things.
They followed Moses, they were with him. In this sense they were baptised into him. Being baptised into Moses is not forgiveness of sin, for Moses could not forgive them their sin!
These are your personal opinions, not supported by scriptureHow the waters of the Red Sea was a symbol of the same waters Jesus used to turn water into wine, which is a symbol of His blood that truly washes away our sins. 1 Corinthians 10:2
