I am beginning to feel like we reside in parallel universes again.
There have been significant legislative achievements.
He has struggled with global inflation.
He is fighting a war to save democracy, faced an insurrection and domestic terrorism. Putin has been an aggressor in Ukraine and is threatening nuclear war.
I wonder if Republicans would have done better. (Well i actually don't. Contemplating it makes me ill.)
Clinton and Eisenhower led in easy times. It was easy to look good.
The president with the most challenges iny lifetime (and i was a baby) was Truman.
So much integrity and goodness, and faced with the horrible choice that ended WWII.
No wonder why he's rated #6.
Thinking of Truman's challenges always remind me that character is most important regardless of party.

A "user post" isn't really repeated facts. Were his sources reliable? Unbiased? Was he subject to the same standards as a journalist?
Biden's record in 50 years in politics is remarkably scandal-free. Many politicians with much shorter tenures would be thrilled to have twice his number of scandals.

When the man himself, after being forced to, that he committed plagiarism, and it was serious enough to cost him his run for the presidency, that pretty much seals it.

I try to be consistent. Where the transgressions are in the past i tend to forgive.
If it indicates a disturbing and even escalating dishonesty, it matters.
Even MLK had a college plagiarizing scandal but his moral and civil rights leadership showed it wasn't who he really was.

Deflection just doesn't work when we have Joe on video multiple times - when he has been caught in a complete fabrication multiple times. No matter what excuses are presented, it does change the established facts on record.

Joe is just as flawed - just as corrupt and lies just as any other politician. The only think I personally find remarkable is the willingness to ignore the obvious by some of his defenders and loyalist.

That video was a "user post." Could have been doctored, manipulated, described the one incident over and over from different reports.

You're probably right. Biden's comments about Obama weren't a gaffe either. It was a Freudian slip

Biden would a close to last choice for me in 2024.

Absolute last choice would be someone like Trump or Desantis.

(As for 3rd parties, I would treat them as if theyre not even on the ballot - until we get ranked choice or similar voting.)

I'm sure there will be much to tell that is currently being covered up--although not very well. That is, unless he leaves office by dying, in which case anyone who criticizes him will be censored for speaking ill of the dead.

*Typical politician
*Biden because he is trying to hide the fact he has suffered cognitive decline as well as being a normal politician, I don't think the plagiarism
scandal is really a big deal

I would argue the founding Fathers do not need to be ranked because they really got results.

I simply don't understand people who think Trump could be ranked
