So is the U.S. military the sword Jesus brought. It is convenient that the enemies of Jesus are our enemies as well. I am not an expert on biblical interpretation, of course it does not take an expert to see how wrong those very foolish explanations are. To read Matthew 10:34 wirhout reading 33, or 35 or anything else to give it context still does not lend credence to such a foolish explanation. Why are violent religions other than Islam not being slain by this sword, I would say because they have no oil, but that is probably just speculation on my part.

In Matthew 28:19 just before ascending into heaven Jesus gave a last command to his diciples it was Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. That doesn't sound like a command to kill his enemies but to convert them.bring them into the fold and teach them.

For the record, Western Christians are seemingly the ones not doing much actively, but that is still hyperbole. Overall, many Christians are actively fighting enemies and going through hell to stand for their God. This war is spiritual even if physical stuff is happening. So, things have to be done differently - protesting and staging small scale wars are not the way to go - especially if you want to fight "the power."

The martyrs in China, for example, don't get much attention for dying for their faith, and huddling in horrible conditions just to avoid the authorities and have fellowship. The majority of Christians around the world take Him very seriously; they are willing to go all the way for Him. A lot is being done.

But you are right that the US /UK strategy seems to be to promote the home side to defend itself and the military support is meant to cultivate that local potential not to send troops to fight alongside them.

Yes it is a spiritual fight and one which the global church is actively engaged in. You are also right that those who speak the truth inside the Muslim world are often hunted down and killed for it. In the fight against a death cult like ISIS there has to be a military dimension since they rule by intimidation. People who become Christians or stand for the faith in this context end up dead. But Christians more broadly should be pressuring their governments to take action or to exert the pressure in the right places so that something is done

My link (of which access is denied) shows Charlemagne astride a white horse with crown on his head. He was the first 'King' of the Holy Roman Empire....the image of the fourth beast. His zeal for the church and the Pope led him to convert, conquer, thousands on pain of death. That he rode a 'white' horse indicates the religious deception wrought by him and the Popes.

All this I agree with and have found written within the Holy Bible. But tell me more about how the rider of the white horse is Constantine. He is conquering for Christianity is he. This is interesting. Are there more Bible verses clarifying this?
