Never always one or the other. I would like to say I am consistent, but I know I am not. At the end of the day though I need to be comfortable with what I believe. I do not find comfort in believing they lied, it does not make sense. It does not make any better sense to believe they were mistaken. I base this on my own understanding and experience and the candour I identify with, which I observe consistently in their testimonies. Is that OK?
Then you're severely overestimating the effectiveness of the tactic that you were using. The problem in our communication was a disconnect between your religious experience and my own. Do not presume that they're the same just because I was Christian. The questions that you were asking me were not applicable, as I kept telling you.

He has spoken by conversation through inner dialogue, and sometimes does, and other times through intuition, and even through self-referential paranoia from external stimuli (TV, conversation, music, events drawing attention to a current thought etc). Yes, I think so, but my memory of that is not clear. I think the transition was OK, I trusted the ones who were teaching me and they must have managed the transition without significant trauma.
Yes, I do, but it is qualified by nature rather than belief. I place little emphasis on having correct beliefs. That should make you curious. I am wanting to establish though whether you have performed the test and if you have, to understand why you have departed from Him.
Ah. I should explain, then, that this is nothing more than yet another difference between your religious experience and my own. This way of thinking was never part of my faith as a Roman Catholic. It's not something I would believe even if I were to become Christian again. I was a Christian in every sense of the word, and now I am not.
