Upbringing or the lack thereof depends upon how good a student the child is. If the school teaches different things from that which the parent teaches... then the child must make a choice: whether to stay out of trouble at school, or believe the parents.

Genetics seems to aid in that choice-making. Because what of the child who never really paid attention in class? and/or was never paid much attention at home?

And how do chldren from the same family turn out to be polar opposites? Is it a birth-order thing? Or is there something that only Astrology can teach us?

Astrology is evil and deceptive and generics can be in varying and altered states from one child to the next in the same family. I don't believe that schools have a responsibility for the defects that a child brings to the school. The school only has the responsibility to report abuse and behavioural difficulty to the appropriate authority.

You don't seem to believe that the school system teaches bad things. What about the myth of SantaClaus which seems to replace the obviously-misplaced nativity with SatanClaws, straight up? How about the theory that even the least gifted in a subject area deserves a prize? What about their choice of history books that only teach the winner's side? Don't think for a moment that the children aren't suffering, with such people demanding that you turn your children over to them... and thereby lose your children to the Matrix.

Not everyone thinks the same way, or has the same experiences. Empathy is often expected in places where it cannot logically exist. A tough cookie might not know a timid turtle very well.

I think I have worked it out. Due to the fact that I am a devout Christian, the people that I have come across that are unkind and nasty are somehow connected to the devil and it's the devil's only way to attack me. Ureka that's it.

And not everybody would characterize you as such, so they'd complain to you that your ego needs to go without feeding for a month or more.
Definitions change with the people who use the expression.

I have had many dealings with bad and nasty people over the years and I believe that I have made most of them very sorry for their actions. You see I look like and acct like I am very timid but that is just on the surface.

Not unless you know the person well enough to accurately define their nature. A one-time offense doesn't mean it's the nature of the person.

Say someone is having a bad day and is feeling the effects of a recent accident... so, he's crabby when he goes out to pick the paper out of the rose bushes. Does the paperboy have the right to call the man a crabby old so-and-so?

I find it rather strange when people say I should be forgiving and tolerate people's nastiness and then the same people say I am the nasty one so if that is true witch it isn't shouldn't they be more tolerant of me and walk the talk.
