Why are Christians so boring?

One could accuse non-christian's of being boring, talking about money, s*x, boozing, sport and never thinking outside there self made bubble.

I know I am stereotyping, but this is the equivalent to the OP's view.

All of the above topics have been discussed, here, by Christians as well, interesting....

Bear in mind, I'm one too. I just meet so many dead, lifeless, boring, dull people who are Christians and have to ask, why? Have you ever met people like this? It seems like the only thing you can do as a Christian is read the bible, go to church and evangelize. Anyone else encounter this?

I think some Christians find themselves under so much pressure to be so perfect all the time that it is hard for them to let loose and have fun, because they are afraid of being judged. The truth is none of us are perfect. I only say this, because I have faced so much judgement by fellow Christians in the past. It puts too much pressure to on one person to live up to other Christians perceptions of "Godliness".

I understand what you mean rose...believe me, more than you could imagine, having your every decision scrutinized by a plethora of people makes you feel weak and trapped; although, that is the exact moments you know you are overcoming the world. When you can be only in that relationship with Yahweh.

At least they have interests. The problem with so many Christians I meet is they don't have any, outside of church or the bible. Everything else, where I come from, is looked down on.

Then move? I wouldn't want to be involved in a church that is that constricting. If it's not a sin, why look down on it? It sounds like they just care too much about what other people are doing.

Anyway, I'm not Christian, but I find most people boring regardless. Just like you complain the Christian people you encounter do nothing but worship and Bible study, the non-Christians I know do nothing but play video games and immerse themselves in the ridiculousness of the Kardashians and Teen Mom and a myriad of other shallow, superficial "reality" TV shows. Believe me, most non-Christians aren't much better.

If you want to find interesting people, you have to go to interesting places. Go hiking. I can guarantee you that on a hike, you will encounter some of the friendliest, most interesting people you will meet. It seems like hikers in general are well traveled, educated people who have all sorts of interesting stories up their sleeve. They're non traditional, they care about the environment and they often do things against the grain.

Ask those who have adhered to those scriptures which Glory they have seen and they will almost alwyas tell you that Yahweh picked them and showed them things beyond their own comprehension and have showed others around them these things as confirmations.

It is not about strictness, it's about realizing this world is doomed and finding an everlasting love from the creator of the Universe

I rarely find people boring. Actually, people are the most exciting, well, people on the planet. I don't always understand, but I try. There are a lot of unhappy people out there. Yeah, so maybe that gets old for some of us. I'm sorry, I'm just rambling trying to think of what to say and I've got nothing.
