You argue that Abraham was a prophet.

The Bible says this --

Num 12:6
"If there is a prophet among you,
I, the Lord, shall make Myself known to him in a vision.
I shall speak with him in a dream."

So not even having that level of communication with God as would an actual Prophet - you want to dump scripture in favor of ... what?... feelings?
