Why are you surprised? It's what happens when people keep doing ... that. You know - the kind of thing you do as well.
I of course agree that God has kept his promise that the earth is fruitful and we can be too! That's the general vibe of the promise - he will not 'uncreate' as he did in that flood. What you are not allowing for is the creative metaphor the highly structured chiastic story is telling, nor the theological importance of the promise. The general vibe. But you cherrypicked the bit you wanted to disprove climate science and potential climate catastrophes - like seedtime and harvests NEVER oh NEVER failing! I showed that hyper-literalistic cherrypicking of the promise vs climate science fails SPECTACULARLY, because that kind of reading of the passage fails within the very same book of the bible!Would you know it, if I was?
Would you know it, if they weren't?
I don't think so, chief.
Genesis 9:1 And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.
Genesis 50:20 But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.
And remind me again how populated this earth is now?
It's a scientific fact that deeply buried Canaanites have their own coal rank classification almost as good as anthracite for carbon content. Is that where coal comes from?
If it isn't your story of the formation of coal it is drastically off topic.
I'm just wondering what do you do with Coal Geology? Or Petroleum Geology? Pretend like they never existed? Those resouces are not just willy-nilly located anywhere. They are found in very specific geological earth formations.I believe coal was embedded into the earth during the Creation Week as an "Easter egg" to be discovered later.
They should have a terrif time together
I'm just wondering what do you do with Coal Geology?

Yep. Nothing.
I'm just wondering what do you do with Coal Geology?
Nothin'
Or Petroleum Geology?
Nothin'
I believe that, when the right time comes, God will gift people to discover these Easter eggs.
While I don't work in the field of either coal or petroleum geology, I've read a fair bit about how we're going to run the world without it because climate change is one of the biggest ethical issues of our time. Also, peak oil is a thing - and in our lifetimes peak coal, and in 133 years coal would hypothetically RUN OUT (if we were silly enough to ignore climate science and keep burning it at today's rates)! As a theistic evolutionist I don't worry about the old age of fossil fuels being a threat to me - nor do I have to go around calling them silly things like "Easter Eggs".What do YOU do with Coal Geology or Petroleum Geology?
Yeah, but Job was a fool. You shouldn’t love someone who victimises you got a bet.Job says otherwise.
Job 42:6 Wherefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes.
You know I’m unconvinced of God’s existence, right? You are not God. You didn't create your son but God did. You are just a creation, but God created all. He is the one who sutains you, He is the source of your life that you keep rejecting. What will you do once God rejects you?
I certainly did create my son. I was there and so was my wife. There was no one else involved. This is a science thread about coal. Your appeals to the supernatural are irrelevant. You are not God. You didn't create your son but God did. You are just a creation, but God created all. He is the one who sutains you, He is the source of your life that you keep rejecting. What will you do once God rejects you?
Arguing that science can accurately date some things, yet completely botch dating other things makes your argument seem a tad illogical. Not that that would bother you, but some us find logic to be pretty important.

The use of the term "Easter Egg" to describe secret features in video games originates from the 1980 video game Adventure for the Atari 2600 game console, programmed by employee Warren Robinette.
Yeah, but Job was a fool.

I want to say, if it's something that you readily need and are expected to find, then it can't be classed as an Easter Egg.
An Easter Egg is like that cave in Eastern Europe (I think) that has two holes in ceiling that look like a pair of eyes, or the mountains that look like faces. THOSE are Easter Eggs.
If it's a feature that is well known and also needed to function, then it's not an Easter Egg.
That's where God steps in and gives us people to discover them.
Abraham certainly didn't need coal or oil in his time.
But when the time did come, God gave us people to find them.
Warren Robinett had his version of Easter Eggs too.
If you have a better term for them, I'd like to hear it.
Perhaps call them "time-sensitive hidden features"?
Or simply "pending treasures"? or "future discoveries"?
