I don't believe in "Satan" but if I did, IIf you don't believe what I believe, even as crazy as it is, your in the clutches of Satan.
I don't believe in "Satan" but if I did, I
might well wonder how many of our nominal
"Christians" who promote all manner of lamebrain
nonsense and worse are actually agents of the
" father of" their lies.
Here are the standards I use,
1. Bible says x, Science says x = go with x
2. Bible says x, Science says y = go with x
3. Bible says x, Science says ø = go with x
4. Bible says ø, Science says x = go with x
5. Bible says ø, Science says ø = free to speculate on your own
Prime Directive: Under no circumstances whatsoever is the Bible to be contradicted.
6. The Bible is ambiguous on x, Science says x = go with ?
7. The Bible is ambiguous on x, Science says y = go with ?
8. The Bible is ambiguous on x, Science says ø = go with ?
9. Bible says x, Logic and Reason says x = go with ?
10. Bible says x, Logic and Reason says y = go with ?
11. Bible says x, Logic and Reason says ø = go with ?
12. Bible says ø, Logic and Reason says x = go with ?
I pray it helps you understand better

Even a non-literal reading has the earth before the sun, angiosperms before the sun, and whales before land animals.
So either way, people can moan and groan about Genesis 1 not being literal, and/or being a poor example of myth.
Genesis 1 is truly a nightmare for evolutionists, and there's no way they can make it fit their philosophy.
Except it's not a nightmare in the slightest, only for those who argue it's literal against those who argue it isn't.
You didn't get my point, did you?
I can turn Genesis 1 into a nightmare, even for allegorists.
If they can turn it into a nightmare for us literalists, we can turn it into a nightmare for them as well.
A nightmare over Genesis 1 is something I've never experienced, not even close. You didn't get my point, did you?

There are people who can recite the litany of the DC-Universe as well.Me, neither.
I have a set of standards that fits Genesis 1 nicely.
In fact, Creationism is my forte.
There are people who can recite the litany of the DC-Universe as well.
Fictions are fun.Yes ... and I can recite Green Lantern's mantra when he powers up his ring.
I know every member of the JLA, along with their secret identities, their weaknesses, and most of their sidekicks.
What's your point?
