I could be wrong but, just as seen from up top the mountain seems that conservatives are happier with their position in life?

Please this is just a general observation and meant in no way to flame anyone and hopefully that will not occur on this thread.

Because they have more wealth I imagine. Not many poor are inclined to cling to their life and money as conservatives do.

In what ways do you see conservatives as happier than liberals?

Seems that we are happier with our jobs, retirements, homes, Churches, environment etc..?
Could be wrong?

Those simple blessings
that remind us that we are blessed.
Realizing how God has been good to us.

Such as living in America?
What a blessing!
I don't know how we were chosen to live here
but, we thank God often.

Good question?
How often do we thank God?
Very often up top the mountain.

what do you think is their ingredient to their happiness? their conservative views or is it something else (as you see it from up top the mountain)

And with life.

I suspect that is because for the most part we are thankful, and consequently, generous.

It is written that a generous man who shares his bread with the poor, will be blessed.

As a matter of fact, it is written that when we heed what God says in His Word, that He will chase us down, and OVERTAKE us with His blessings.

Seems to be a combination of many things?

Always with God and Country first.

Not to forget
a happy Queen
makes for a happy King.

If you know what I mean
she will make you sing.

Just a little more you sweet little thing
as the bells in my head are starting to ring.

Amen!

I was thinking on this very same thing in the store this morning, about how very BLESSED we are to live in this country, and of all the freedoms and liberties we have, and consequently how that enables us to be a blessing to so many others.

When we bless others, it brings a smile to the very heart of God, and to His face, and the Holy Spirit rejoices inside us, 'cause His joy just overflows, filling us with His joy from the inside, out.

He gives us a "merry heart".

i didn't sleep outside last night. It was cold.

I'm thankful that i have a warm n' dry roof over me head.

The reason is because i HAVE been homeless. In the cold. Sleeping on concrete, half sitting up through the night leaning on a building because i literally had no place to lay my head.

Yes i have a computer. Someone gave it to me. I'm THANKFUL for my computer as well.

What are you thankful for?

That don't sound to be reall happy
understandable
where is that?

Don't want to vacation there.
M-Bob
It's not the income that matters.

I've been without an income at all, staying in hotels that the government provided, and eating meals they provided. God MINISTERED to me in those circumstances, and through this horrendous experience (and others) i learned to minister to others.

I'm thankful for what God has brought me through.

The reason conservatives are happier with their jobs and homes is they earn more money. Demographics show typically rich people are conservative and poor people are liberal. Why do you think that is?

I am happy and more blessed because of her.

(I'm not wealthy...i just have MUCH (like Dizz) to be thankful for).

My job has its ups and downs, but on the whole it's satisfying work that pays well, and I like the people I work with. I have a great church. I have a comfortable home. My children have grown up to be intelligent, creative, compassionate adults.

it's the simple things in life that make me happy.

Like leaves, falling to the ground on this Saturday morning in November.

I'm with you on this, brinny. Watching the brightly-colored trees as I bike to work is one of my happiest things in autumn.

Possibly, being happy isn't really about being liberal or conservative, but rather is more about other aspects of life.

Yes!!!! And on this prayer warrior site i participate in, many of the prayer warriors are from different countries and many have said that this country is like a "beacon" to them and they pray that it will CONTINUE to shine in this world.

It is a prayer of mine as well.
