Ok, so I've skated around the edges of this thread but I haven't yet really answered the question (though I would like to meet Erwin. 
) Some people I'd like to meet because the seem to share my opinions. Others just seem like really interesting people. So, in no particular order:

Never been to the US only to Europe and Bali - had a great time and met great people. I met some Americans in Ireland and we talked the night with them. They were really lovely. I never really thought about going to the America. I want to make it NZ first or maybe another Australasian country.

Well, I don't know what everyone else will be like at the potential meeting, but here's a taste of what I would most likely be doing. If I happen to remember that the gathering is that night and what the directions are, I will probably come in and find a place in the corner somewhere and watch for a while until someone comes near me and introduces themselves. And then I'd get into a conversation, and if it gets into a hot spot, I will start preaching, and then the Bible will come out and I will start talking from that, and reading the Scriptures... that is, until I'm silenced to pray for the food. But then I will go right back to it until someone reminds me to have something to eat. Either that, or if there is foosball, pool, or some other distraction, I will likely busy myself with a game or two, until I am a bit more comfortable with the people around... or, if it is a large enough place with multiple rooms and places to explore, I will basically do that (supposing that it is kosher to do that, of course, and not somebody's home that I am a guest at)... I know this, because that's how I behaved at the most recent party that I went to, with mostly people I hadn't met before.

Yeah, it's hard to find people who really like numbers for their own sake, even in my engineering department. To me the equation:
e^(i*pi) - 1 = 0
is one of the most beautiful things is creation, and I mean that seriously. There you have arguably the five most important numbers all related by one equation... am I getting off topic?
