Well, I almost DID get to meet my favorite person from CF, Mina. I was passing through her city on a connecting flight and wanted to meet her for a bit at the airport. Busy girl as she is, she had other engagements. So close!

I think I'd have a good time with iklepac13. We seem to have a lot in common.

Yeah, it's hard to find people who really like numbers for their own sake, even in my engineering department. To me the equation:

e^(i*pi) - 1 = 0

is one of the most beautiful things is creation, and I mean that seriously. There you have arguably the five most important numbers all related by one equation... am I getting off topic?

Schrodinger's equation is the Jessica Simpson of equations if you ask me. It is so simple and inviting, but as soon as you become friends with the Hamiltonian you find yourself in a world of pain and confusion.

You are right. There are not many people who like numbers, myself included. I did have a friend in school who liked numbers and memorized Pi out to some nutty extent (I believe he came in 6th in the world, and was 11 yrs old)
