Who loves thunderstorms?

I live near the coast so sometimes I can see the lightning approaching from the ocean. The arcs of lightning are fantastic and I can sit there for as long as I can watching them. Though I don't like being under a thunderstorm because it is too scary. I have had lightning hit close to me on a couple of occasions in my life which freaks you out big time!

i have always liked storms...have a new respect for them though i live very near joplin, about 15 minutes i pretty much grew up there

I love to watch a thunder Storm roll in! It’s G-ds fire works display. And I love the different kinds of lighting. I have watched lighting roll across the sky never touching the ground but moving across the sky and hearing the sound of thunder roll on and on and on. I have counting 30 sec of thunder as the lighting moves across the sky. Then, I love it when it rains! My Mother told me that when I was a little toddler I would run and get a pillow and lay by the screen door when it started to rain. O-yea I do love thunder Storms & the rain it brings. J

Yes! It's like God is reminding us of Who's Boss, and delighting us at the same time hahaaaaa...and we, His children, clap at the splendour of it all...

As much as they scare the dog I have to admit to loving a good storm, being outside in it, feeling the rain belting down, the rumble of the thunder, the flash of lightning ... it's invigorating. There's something marvellous about being by the sea when one hits too, the combination of crashing waves and whirling winds just make for the perfect weather to think about God and all of His creation.

There's nothing more terrifying than hearing thunder. Every flash of lightning is reassuring though.

Been so long since we had one. Must be 5 or 6 years since the last one, it was properly frightening and amazing at the same time.

we had rain yesterday...freezing rain....
