Is he G-d? Yes or no.

If you have a unique way of defining the attributes of God and if it voilates the One-ness of G-d in any shape or form then you are preaching something which is not True in nature of G-d hence one can claim it is not the same.

Allah is the One and Only, Creator of All that exists, Master Of the day of Judgement, He begets not nor is he begotton.

Belief in one God, Allah in Arabic, constitutes the very foundation of Islam. There is no deity except Allah. He is indivisible and absolutely transcendent. God is the Almighty, the Creator and the Sustainer of the universe, Who is similar to nothing and nothing is comparable to Him.

The basic message of Islam is that God (Allah in Arabic) and His creation are distinctly different entities. Neither is Allah His creation or a part of it, nor is His creation Him or a part of Him. This might seem obvious, but, man's worship of creation instead of the Creator is to a large degree based on ignorance of this concept. It is the belief that the essence of Allah is everywhere in His creation or that His divine being is or was present in some aspects of His creation, which has provided justification for the worship of creation, though such worship may be called the worship of Allah through his creation.

However, the message of Islam as brought by the prophets of Allah is to worship only Allah and to avoid the worship of his creation either directly or indirectly.
(Read more: The True Religion)

Say: He is God, the One and Only; God, the Eternal, Absolute; He begets not, nor is He begotten; And there is none like unto Him. (Surah 112)

God is He, than Whom there is no other god;- Who knows (all things) both secret and open; He, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. God is He, than Whom there is no other god;- the Sovereign, the Holy One, the Source of Peace (and Perfection), the Guardian of Faith, the Preserver of Safety, the Exalted in Might, the Irresistible, the Supreme: Glory to God! (High is He) above the partners they attribute to Him.

He is God, the Creator, the Evolver, the Bestower of Forms (or Colors). To Him belong the Most Beautiful Names: whatever is in the heavens and on earth, doth declare His Praises and Glory: and He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise. (59:22-24)

I went to a Coptic Orthodox Church back in New Zealand. Much of their liturgy was in Arabic. They did use "Allah" to refer to God, but more often they used the word "Rabb", meaning "Lord". Perhaps this was a way to minimalize the use of the word "Allah"?

The name "Rabb" is also in Qur'aan... If you read Qur'aan you can find verses in which you read "Raab-ul-Alameen"... When we say Lord of All that exists then there is nothing left for this word to be used as a minimized version to less then One and Only G-d.

Qur'aan
1:2
al- h.amd li- 'allaah rabb al- aalamen

1:2
All praise is for Allah, the 'Rabb' of the Worlds.

Hi, Luzeiro; good to hear from you again! :)

Since you cannot demonstrate as fact a connection between islam and Abraham, your contention is built on sand. Allah is not a name, neither is Gott or any of the others. It's a title, not a name. Let it percolate.

As always, you are most welcome to your opinion!

The fact remains that it's a simple distinction of language, as I--and others--have already pointed out to you. And the clear proof is Arab Christians' worship of Allah!

And while I can't post objective proof of these facts, it is our understanding that the connections between Abraham and the later, so-called "Abrahamic" religions are manifold!

Abraham had three wives, as you may know: Sarah, Hagar, and Keturah.

Moses was descended from Abraham through Sarah.

Jesus was descended from Abraham through Sarah and the lineage of David.

Muhammad was descended from Abraham through Hagar.

The Bab (meaning "Gate"), Who founded the Babi Faith, was descended from Abraham through Hagar and through Muhammad.

And Baha'u'llah, Founder of the Baha'i Faith, was descended from Abraham through both Sarah (and David) and Keturah!

So Abraham founded quite a religious dynasty, as had been propesied! :)

(As icing on the cake, Shoghi Effendi, who headed the Baha'i Faith from 1921 to 1857, was descended from Abraham through ALL THREE of His wives, as well as from David, Muhammad, the Bab, and Baha'u'llah!)

Quite a family tree!

Best regards, :)

Bruce
