Genesis 17:3

Incorrect. Authentic Jewish Kabbalah does not espouse such nonsense. Rabbi Yehuda Lev Ashlag, Rabbi Yitzchak Luria, Rabbi Chaim Vital, and other masters of Kabbalah such as Rabbi Moshe Chaim Luzzato never taught any such thing. I think perhaps you're a bit confused on this subject.

There aren't any real Kabbalist's today except perhaps Michael Laitman. The last authentic Kabbalist I'm aware of was Rabbi Aryeh Kaplan, and he died in 1983.

Gnostics were Hellenized Jews that did not practice Judaism, and then converted to Christianity. That's why the vast majority of the New Testament is Kabbalistic in nature. Many Christians, and Messianics today believe that Jesus was the angel of the L-rd in Tanakh, who now worship him (Jesus) as the one true G-d, so I think you'll find more of them worshiping angels than Torah observant Jews.

Who is Jewish is a question with complex answers. Under Jewish law a person whose mother is Jewish, either by birth, conversion, or maternal descent, is Jewish. A person who follows the moral and ethical teachings of Judaism is Jewish even if not Jewish by birth or conversion. Those are just some of the definitions of who is Jewish.

My oldest son considers himself an atheist. However, his mother is Jewish and he practices the morals and ethics of Judaism. Ergo, he is Jewish under both Jewish and Israeli laws.

That is more or less a translation variation of Judah, etc. as there were no "J" in the old language.
