Those who outrightly refuse God's way of salvation in Jesus Christ, and those who trust in their own "goodness" to save them, to the exclusion of the grace offered through Christ. I cannot believe that those who have never heard the gospel will be eternally damned, but I am open to believing that they will be given a "second chance" to find salvation in Jesus Christ at some point in the future.

I said I don't believe in hell because I don't believe in the traditional notion of hell as a place where the dead are alive and tortured forever until judgment day when they are finally judged for what they did and then sent back to torture-land for more torture.

If by "Hell" you were referring to "Sheol", Then I would have to change my answer. Everyone eventually dies and goes to Sheol (the grave). But Jesus said that there is a day when eveyone who is in the grave will hear his voice and come out. The resurrection day. Some come out to eternal life, and some do not receive eternal life.

Just out of curiosity:)

Many who die will go to “hell” good and bad! Though many believe ONLY the bad go. Hell is not a place where demons live. Despite the misunderstanding of what Jesus said concerning a hell,(Matt.5:29 and Matthew 5:21-23). If hell is a place where demons live and torture the wicked ”souls” then why did Jesus say this at ,(Matt.25:41?, “ Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels

Many others follow what’s taught concerning this. But since I know Jesus wouldn’t imply his Father creating a “hellfire” yet he said “hell” ,(IF that word wasn’t place there to make a false teaching seem true). I would want to understand more of what and why this word.

Many say the wicked angels were kicked out of Heaven into hell. That’s so wrong, they were kicked straight to earth, (Rev.12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time).

Psa.16:8-11- shows David ,(a faithful man) ,talks about God not leaving his soul in hell, not even to see corruption, (decaying). Notice David saying… “my flesh also shall rest in hope“ (if the false teachings of hell was a place demons torture the wicked and sinners, why would David say “his flesh shall rest? Hell wouldn‘t be in a place of resting).

And Jonah 2:1,2- Then Jonah prayed unto the LORD his God out of the fish's belly, And said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the LORD, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heardest my voice.( was Jonah being tortured by demons?, was there fire in the fish belly?, i don't think so)!

Even the unbelievers, or wicked don’t go to a fiery place after death. Because we pay for our sins once we die,(Rom.-6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord). And the soul isn’t a ghost of a dead person, as many ministers teach, (a lie). A Soul, is a living being, point blank!, (Ezek.18:4-the soul that sinneth, it shall die), and (1Cor.15:45 -And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul). Those who refuse to believe Jehovah’s word, instead of their ministers, Just don’t want the truth. Peace :)

Those whom God in his justice passes over and denies his grace.

NO MAN can "access" the GRACE of GOD, until HE decides they shall -- John 6:44 -- at which "time" YHVH sets them upon the pathway which leads them -- Rom 2:4 -- to the ("REPENTENT") ...bowing of the knee and confession of His Son's name as Savior -- Phil 2:10-11 -- which "CONFESSION"can only be done by the POWER of GOD -- 1 Cor 12:3

PEACE... :groupray:

Salvation is not DECIDED by men! GOD ALONE, is the SAVIOR of ALL -- 1 Tim 2:3-4 -- 1 Tim 4:9-11 -- Rom 5:18-20 -- not man and his SINFULLY tainted "decision" making process!

The Salvation of YHVH God, through JESUS CHRIST is NOT -- "left to chance"... It is DONE and includes His RANSOM for ALL -- 1 Tim 2:6 -- which PEACE concerning ALL THINGS, is (in DIVINE) COMPLETED -- Col 1:20

PEACE... :groupray:

those who dont ask forgiveness of out blessed lord and dont repent..just my idea

FIRST --- There is no such thing as "HELL"...

GOD must LEAD men to "REPENTENCE", before it can be manifest -- Rom 2:4

SECOND -- And, ...FORGIVENESS as CHRIST taught and manifest Himself, ...is given unto men irregardless of it being REQUESTED by them -- Matt 5:38-48 -- Luke 23:34 -- 1 John 4:14 -- Luke 6:27-37

This is totally a CONFUSION which places the cart before the horse!

This verse does NOT imply any "PAYMENT" made BY US for SIN. It CLEARLY implies EARNINGS (wages) for WORK DONE...

We do not EVER "PAY", for ANY SIN... we "RECIEVE" PAYMENT for it.

WAGES are evidence of EARNING something for WORK DONE

So DEATH is "earned" by our SINFUL action, ... DEATH is not a "PAYMENT" made BY US, for SIN. It is our WAGE which GOD PAYS us, for SINFUL behavior against the COMMAND of GOD.

CHRIST made "payment" for ALL -- 1 Tim 2:6 -- Rom 5:6-8 -- Psalm 14:1-3 -- Rom 3:10-12 --

(1) ...there are NONE RIGHTEOUS,

(2) ...ALL are UNGODLY... and,

(3) ...CHRIST's death was for THE UNGODLY...

CHRIST "paid" His RANSOM for ALL...

I don't want to limit God by ruling out the possibility of eternal torment for the wicked, as many seem to do by distorting or just ignoring entirely the scriptures that plainly refer to the wicked being tormented day and night forever and ever, but at the same time I concede that those who do rule it out present their reasons for doing so quite well. However, to claim that eternal torment for the wicked is out of God's character is to say that you understand the character of God and to impose limits on Him that are based on your finite human understanding. I will plainly say that I just do not know, based on my present level of understanding of the scriptures, whether the wicked will be roasted for all eternity, or whether they will only be roasted for a short while and then cease to exist. I just do not know. But I do know that they will be roasted, as scripture plainly states. I will not limit God by saying I believe this or that thanatological interpretation, but I will be humble and wait for God to prepare my heart for new revelations from His Holy Spirit.

I never said nor implied that people access/work for the grace of God if grace was something that we access it would not be grace(Rom 11:6) for grace by definition is unmerited favor that said people can be denied grace without ever trying to access it they can be denied grace without ever asking for it as is the case of those to whom the Lord opts not to give grace when speaking of such people we can say that they were denied grace because God could have opted to give it to them had he willed to do so but did not.

Peace and blessings to you.

FIRST -- I'm curious Doxology, ...where is it said in the SCRIPTURES, ...that GOD will or shall DENY PEOPLE of GRACE? ...Book, chapter and verse if you will! ;)

The GOSPEL is about the GOOD NEWS of the GRACE of GOD -- Acts 20:24 -- and the GOSPEL is to be preached to EVERY CREATURE -- Mark 16:15

The GOSPEL IS intended for ALL men. via the WORD of GRACE for ALL... Not just those who "religiously" go to a given church, and consider themselves "righteously apart from all other SINNERS... there is NONE righteous -- Rom 3:10-12 -- Psalm 14:1-3

No matter HOW much you "church", you are STILL a SINNER saved by GRACE -- Eph 2:8-9

SECOND -- PEOPLE do not "ATTAIN" GRACE by "asking for it"... If that were so, then YOUR "ASKING" is a power which manipulates the GRACE of GOD. This is NOT so. GRACE is the gifting of GOD... at HIS descretion.

GOD does not OPT to "give GRACE" to one and NOT to the other. That would be PARTIALITY toward the one... He does nothing of the SORT -- Prov 30:6 -- Acts 10:34

GRACE is present and IS MUCH MORE, than ANY SIN of man -- Rom 1:20

PEACE... :groupray:

ATMB, Hell is the place for those who ultimately don't want to be good. I don't think there are really many, I think most people fall in the "grey area" of wanting to be good but failing, in which case I have no idea but I just hope God will have mercy for as many as possible.

Upon what Scriptures do you base this opinion Rao?

That is the million dollar question isn't it ?

According to Christ, people who have hard hearts. Who lack love, compassion and kindness towards others. It could be millions of ' Christ' professors. It could be many devoted God believing , God fearing people. That is who Christ indicated would be spending time in punishment. As well as those who didn't forgive others, who never showed Mercy to others. Those who walk by a person in need. Ect.

Sounds like pretty much everyone. But especially those devoted to religious observations , who confess with their mouth but have hearts far from God.

See Matthew 25.

Many people believe that Hell is a place underground where Satan and his friends (demons) live, torturing those that God send down, due to them not making it into heaven with him, when they died, but that's not true. One: Hell is a grave that we ALL are going to when we died, until God feel like we should come back on Earth. Two: Satan and his friends do not live underground, but here on Earth with us everyday.
