  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

the only person i really haven't seen perform live, and would LOVE to, is my favourite singer - Celine Dion. Oh if only she would come to my auditorium. life would be grand :satisfied:

I have reached the pinnacle for myself. Not because of how many shows I have seen...but because I saw my favorite band the 23rd of September this year. I still plan on going to shows. My current prediction, that was the pinnacle for me...seeing Opeth at the Trocodero in Philly and another one of my favorite bands tagged along the latter side of the tour Katatonia. Seeing those bands...ESPECIALLY Opeth...I don't look for any concert to top that experience, just shadow it.

The list is pretty long to what I keep my eye on what is coming around so suffice it to say, the style typically is first and foremost heavy metal and since I am finding a love for prog music, I will be looking out for prog music coming around and then maybe some acoustic stuff I like.

I don't include the stuff I could see locally if I would choose to do so.

Lady Gaga. She puts on a REALLY good show.
This! I so want to see Lady Gaga. And Shakira would be nice to see as well.

I would REALLY love it if Led Zep did another reunion show, but I know that will never happen. The best I can hope for is to see the individual members in their own bands.

I've seen Rush once before and hope to see them again on their next tour.

Well I've seen U2 five times so I'll leave them off my list.^_^ I've also been fortunate enough to see Elvis Costello, Snow Patrol, Barenaked Ladies, Interpol, and Florence + the Machine and they were all stellar.

At this point there are so many artists I'd still like to see but Radiohead is probably at the top of my list. They're genius and they sound even better live. I've been a huge fan for years and I'd flip to get to see them.

I'd do anything to see Kelly Clarkson again! I've seen her three times before but she is just so amazing live! I'm hoping to meet her on this next tour if she comes near me and my Sis (well she's like my big sis) in Indianapolis! :D

I'd also love to see Taylor Swift in concert... I was supposed to with my ex but it never happened because he never had a job to get us tickets and he didn't even bother trying to win us tickets when he knew how much I wanted to see her LIVE.

Also, another band I'd like to see again is The Band Perry. They are soooo sweet in person too! So sad I can't see them on Friday because they're here with Reba McEntire! :( And it's my sweetie's birthday! :(

They're actually Taylor's opening act right now. :D
Yeah... and that stinks! Why? Because now I know they are getting more famous and that means their tickets will most likely be more expensive. :sigh:

I did get to see them play a little though before they got famous. But I had to leave the concert early because it was outdoors in the heat and my sister got very sick.
