I really don't care what others think, but there are many movies that still make me "tear up" after all these years. Here are some of the lines (all great films) that cause this:

"Hey, Dad... do you wanna have a catch?"
"Goodbye, Mr Chips, Goodbye"
"Did you find the cat?"
"I'm going to show you doors - doors you never even dreamed existed....."
"Lassie, you're my Lassie come home"
There are many others - these are off the top of my head. Add your own favourite lines, or tell me I am a complete wimp, or explain why, or why not some people (like me) invest enough time into fictional situations to get genuinely emotional about the outcomes.
As a bonus, I will send a half eaten lollypop to anyone who can identify all the movies I quoted fron=m above, or offer you absolutely free, one post on this forum.
