I see many people post many things on many forums. Here is the one thing i never see. People never post what the feel to the question i am about to post. They just post scriptures that tell them an answer. What i am looking for is feelings and thoughts in this post not scripture. The question is: Who are you in Christ? Take time to think about this one. Tell me what you feel. I asked 20 of my members, and all they came up with was quotes from the bible.

Sorry, I would disillusion you and also give scripture. I base my beliefs on who I am in Christ, not on my feelings or thoughts, but on what God the Father assures me is my position in Christ.

So in otherwords you have no feelings all u can do is quote the bible? I am not saying quoteing the bible is wrong. Having feelings is not wrong either. Are you just a computer programming scriptures into yourself? Or is it you have no feelings towards what Christ has done for your life? Everyone has feelings, and I am just trying to see what different feelings people have. If i wanted scripture answers I would not come to the result i am looking for. I am trying to get to know the Christians I already know scriptures.

Of course I experience emotion and 'feelings', I´m human and as they are a response to what I read in the Bible I can´t separate the two.

Security, protection, empowerment,
wonder, awe, gratitude, acceptance,
privilege. Wow!!!

I don´t experience all of those emotions at the same time. When I think about all the benefits of the work of Jesus on the Cross there is also a physical response.

One could assume if the only responses to your question you get are mirrored in scripture then, it would validate not only what is written, but the responses given.

To press beyond the initial response given to you by a person willing to give you an honest answer, would indicate that their is a measure of critical judgement of one's Heart in your philosophy. Meaning, if you do not or can not except what's been represented by the individuals poled, as their heart felt responses.. Then you assume you were given a parroted or trained "feeling" from the bible.. Something no man has the authority to judge.

Again, why can't the biblical response be a heart felt emotional one as well? The more I study, the More I come to understand that scripture says "it" clearly, simply, and accurately the first time. Why can't it be true for this as well?

From the heart?
I am one who cannot draw my next breath apart from Christ. He has
found an odd beauty in the weakness that is me, and has chosen to
display His might in my life. I have learned there is no beauty apart from
Him, no strength, no wisdom, no contentment... no life.

All the languages ever spoken, in a combined effort, could not supply
me with adequate expression of love and appreciation for all Jesus is
to me.
