The fact that a freshman congresswoman is on his list demonstrates just how much the right-wing is obsessed with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. They have drawn her up to be the biggest threat in history, along with the constant vitriol of the president directed at CNN and MSNBC. One would think this would be a wake up call, but we all know it won't be because Trump and his ilk are simply motivated by hate and narcissism.

If she weren't physically attractive, the media probably wouldn't follow her as closely as they do.

Not being familiar with how the Coast Guard handles promotions and retention, it looked a little weird to me that he was a 49 year old lieutenant. Seems a little old and a little junior, at least it typically is in the other branches.

He is prior service, and it's likely the Coasties promote slowly.

And maybe his performance reports haven't quite gushed about him being someone who absolutely must be promoted.

Islamic terrorists kill Muslims; in fact, Muslims are the greatest victim of global terrorism. White supremacists also participate in killings targeted toward people they consider "brothers and sisters." Killing someone who is white does not negate the idea that you are a white nationalist.

A Coast Guard officer, said by prosecutors to be a white nationalist who hatched a plan to carry out hits on well-known media personalities and politicians, including some 2020 presidential candidates, appeared in a federal court Thursday in Maryland. He pleaded guilty to four federal gun and drug charges, and faces up to 31 years in prison.

According to court documents, Lt. Christopher Hasson advocated for the establishment of a "white homeland" in emails with a known Neo-Nazi leader. Prosecutors said Hasson intended "to murder innocent civilians on a scale rarely seen in this country."

When authorities arrested Hasson in February, they confiscated 15 firearms, at least 1,000 rounds of ammunition, and several bottles of Tramadol, an opioid painkiller.

During the raid, officials also discovered a spreadsheet on Hasson's computer with the names of prominent politicians, such as Sens. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., Cory Booker, D-N.J., Kamala Harris, D-Calif., as well as television personalities, including MSNBC host Joe Scarborough, and CNN's Don Lemon.
