Which System Is Best

I put Xbox.
I had PS2, traded it in.
I have a PC that can run any game, but I haven't played it much. I have HL2, played it 4 times.

what do you think about Halo vs. Halo2?
me personaly i like Halo better i think they messed up on the weapons on Halo2

The wow factor was higher on the first one for me, but I do really appreciate the second one.
I broke down the weapons with tests on the second one, and they really aren't that bad.

PC, because the GRAPHICS are better then Xbox I like the PC because of such a huge list of games that are compatible with any computer (so long as you meet the requirements of a game). With a console, you need to buy the next thing and games may or may not be compatible.

Wow, a girl who knows games! That's amazing. LOL

I personallt perfer Halo 2, but I wish that they would have kept the ATVs or at least not told us it would have them. I hate what they did to the pistol and some of the multiplayer levels are built for online so there a little (way) too big. I also liked the assalt rifle. However, after all that, I still give it a higher 10 out of 10 than the 10 out of 10 the first got-It has great cut scense, it pulls you in, great new weapons and vehicles, and the ability to knock people off.

Why do graphics matter so much to so many folks? I thought that gameplay was the thing to look for primarily.

I mean, I remember when systems had 4 and 8 bit graphics and people still enjoyed them.

a good looking game will make you stick to it more time than a game with cheap graphics.

I have to disagree with that. I've played some games with ****** graphics but great gameplay and I still liked them quite a bit.

Aaaah I remember a poll just like this a while ago and just like last time Xbox was winning. Grrrrr. Hehehe anyways I vote for PS2 as always, I just find the controller alone is what makes the PS2 it..just...seems...right, its perfect! As for the graphics I have to agree that Xbox is slightly better but not good enough that I would choose it over PS2.

Xbox is the most powerful console on the market. No game developer has actually even scratched the surface of what they could do with all that power.

Absolutly, the CPU is like .5 times Gamecubes and 1.5 PS2s.

Alright, first, I think your a gamecube fan and the GCN actually has good graphics (just not as good as the Xbox). Secondly, the reason we care is because it adds more realism to the game. Therefor, its an improvement on gameplay. Now, sure I still love playing games like The Two Towers event hough its graphics aren't great, meaning graphics add but they aren't everything.

Sure, I'm a Gamecube fan. I'm also a PS2 fan. I'd probably like the X-box once I get around to purchasing one. I like games, not systems or companies.

Graphics indeed aren't everything, but I seem to hear that they are more and more by gamers these days. I fear that companies may start to put all their emphasis on graphics and less on actual playability and fun factor.

Exactly. Noone critized any of the NES-SNES Mario games because they weren't "realistic" enough. Shure, it's nice to have amazing graphics, but what good are those graphics if the game is horrible?

I like all of the systems except for the GameCube. But when it comes to the best there is only one and that is the X-Box.

The Xbox is pretty popular huh... With the exception of some old school consoles (snes, etc), I can't say I like consoles. Give me a decent pc anyday!
Higher resolutions, much better graphics.
The mouse... playing an fps with a controller is a joke. Or try and play a complex RTS
Customization: Counterstrike, Day of Defeat etc... they wouldn't exist if it weren't for the PCs ability to make mods for games.
Online play: So you have your xbox live now, your ps2 service... I think I prefer playing for free, bar my isp connection.
You can do more with a pc word processing.. I don't really need to list these. Sure you can do a few more things if you put a modchip in your console, but it'll never be a pc.

To each their own, some will always like their consoles and what not. But the PC is a superior system in every way imho.

Oh yeah, and what I hate about consoles? Take Deus Ex. Brilliant game. Then they dumb it down so it can be played on a console - it sucked, and Ionstorm is pretty much bankrupt. Go figure.
