How much "sanctification process" did the thief next to Jesus do at Cavalry? Cause only thing I read was admitting he was a sinner and putting faith in Jesus.

The thief on the cross showed his faithfulness in defending Jesus.

"Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven." (Matthew 10:32-33).

The thief on the cross did not do nothing. He did not silently sit by and believe in Jesus silently. He defended Jesus against the other thief's statements and then He asked Jesus to remember Him. He was confessing Jesus before others of His faith in Him. That shows faithfulness and not a lack of being unfaithful or a lack of 0% action. God moves in us to love Him. If one does not show forth their love towards the Lord in their deeds, it is just like the kind of faith of demons (James 2:19).

For the following people, please specify if you think they are saved or not and what leads you to think so. Also please indicate if you believe in single or double predestination or not.

1. A miscarried baby
2. A 5 year old who dies before becoming a Christian
3. A 15 year old who dies before becoming a Christian
4. A Christian who develops Alzheimer's or other dementia, rejects that they were ever a believer and passes away
5. A Christian who injures their brain, suffers permanent amnesia, forgets they were ever a Christian, dying many years later having never remembered
6. A person with split personality where one personality identifies as Christian and the other rejects Christianity
7. A Christian who drinks too much one day, while drunk rejects their faith and is killed in an accident before they can remember and repent

You have too much time on your hands? ....

Speaking of time? Some of your questions would require long answers.
Very long!
Good questions.. But, you should post only asking about one issue at a time, please.

King David tells us that his infant son, who died shortly after birth, was saved automatically.

Those whom God offers no time for learning what is needed for making a decision are saved automatically.

2 Sam 12:19-23

David noticed that his attendants were whispering among themselves,
and he realized the child was dead. “Is the child dead?” he asked.

“Yes,” they replied, “he is dead.”

Then David got up from the ground. After he had washed, put on lotions
and changed his clothes, he went into the house of the Lord and worshiped.
Then he went to his own house, and at his request they served him food,
and he ate.

His attendants asked him, “Why are you acting this way? While the child
was alive, you fasted and wept, but now that the child is dead, you get up
and eat!”

He answered, “While the child was still alive, I fasted and wept. I thought,
‘Who knows? The Lord may be gracious to me and let the child live.’

But now that he is dead, why should I go on fasting?

Can I bring him back again?

I will go to him, but he will not return to me.

That is a bit of a stretch. It could mean he goes to the grave also, he would follow in the same manner someday so why waste what life is left grieving.
Restate that please? "Why waste what life is left grieving?" What does that mean?

And, its not a bit of a stretch. You seem to treat God as if He is only a very powerful man.... God already knows who are His. If He decides to allow for a very young child to die? That child is overjoyed when it finds its soul in Heaven.... What is wrong with that?

And... think about this.

Where was David going after he died? Was he going to hell? No! The stretch I see is for some reason you do not like a happy ending with God's mercy and perfect judgment.

Please read God's Word again and see what it says:

Tell us? .. Where was David going when he died?
Its not a stretch if one sees what its saying.

But now that he is dead, why should I go on fasting?

That seems so shallow.

David was specially chosen by the Lord to have a son that would sit forever on His throne. That is why in the Gospels we see some call Jesus .."Son of David."

For example..

The record of the genealogy of Jesus the Messiah,
the son of David, the son of Abraham."
Matthew 1:1

Even though he was a sinner (as we all are) David had a wonderful and deep walk with God in understanding and grace...

A life we should all pray for ourselves as well. The more I learn about David the more I realize that achieving a blessed spiritual life is possible for all who hunger for the Word of God to be clarified and explained for them by some qualified teacher. A teacher (or teachers) we need to pray for if we truly desire it. Not pray simply because we believe its the right thing to do. But, finding ourselves really wanting it above all else.

grace and peace

What comfort would that be to David to "go to the grave" to his dead son?
His solace was in knowing that his son was being comforted by the Lord, and that when he died, he would be with the Lord too. David did not mourn as one with no hope, David had peace because he knew there WAS hope.

And... what comfort is there in hearing someone say that sort of thing?

Sometimes, I find it discouraging here.

Thank you...

Within each person is a spirit. The spirit of a person goes on whether or not their physical body is able too. So I say that even though we may not know what is going on in a person's spirit God does whether their the tiniest of humans or have lived a long life and are now in a mental state of forgetfulness. Either way their spirit lives on. The thief on the cross was never baptized, but Christ looked into his heart and accepted him into the Kingdom of God because of his profession of faith. I guess it just boils down to letting God make the judgement of someone's soul and rest in knowing that we as humans don't have the same knowledge as He does.

Good post... But I think you have confused the words "spirit" for we all having a human soul.

Only believers have a human spirit. Its given to them when they are reborn. Otherwise we are only body and soul .. without a human spirit.. before we are born again.

May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through.
May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming
of our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Thes 5:23

Soul and spirit are not the same things...

Those who are not born again are said to be spiritually dead. Its why Jesus said of certain unbelievers. "Let the dead bury their own dead."

grace and peace...
