I would suggest that you either get a Strat (though not for me because of the style that I play -- look for an american made one o a MEX) or a Gibson LP (I suggest the Studio models)

Get on ebay and take a look around... I've been able to find several guitars on there for very very good prices...

Hey Guy,

The Epiphone Les Paul would be a Decent Choice. You should really take a look on Ebay and see if you can find a used guitar there. You might be able to find a Gibson SG for about $600-$700 which would be alot higher quality than any you listed. Look around at all the guitars you like. I Just bought a Brand new Hamer Flying V, Flamed cherry sunburst for only $550 on Ebay. It plays great, almost as good as my Gibson Les Paul that I payed $1600 for. Look hard for the best deal.

I'm thinking about buying an electric guitar but I don't know which one to buy. I'll spend around 500$ on it.

The guitars I've been looking at is
PRS Tremonti SE
Epiphone les paul or SG
Fender Stratocaster

I've been playing western for around 2½ years now so it's my first electric.

Any advice?

The Strats a good choice. You can probably pick up a good used American on your $500 budget....but, since you say you've been playing western, you really ought to look at the Fender Nashville Tele. It's really versatile, can sound like a Telecaster, but can get the good Strat 'quack'. I just bought one & it's probably going to take the place of both my Tele & Strat. You can probably pick a new one up for $300-$400 Check it out.
