not only that, but a lot of people have trouble enough affording 1 system...im just lucky to have siblings in different age ranges who prefer different consoles...my sister bought a PS2, simply because at that time she had no idea Xbox or gamecube was coming out, she doesn't game much, but she wanted a DVD player, plus she games sometimes, and brother, when i wanted the xbox, decided he wanted a gamecube...he's littler...anyway my sister moved out, left the PS2 since her fiance has an xbox, decided she didn't really need it anymore since she was "growing up into a woman, and didn't think she'd play video games as much"...now she's a health nut, and plans on getting an xbox because it has this yoga, workout, health schedule, game...i don't know the name, but you make this person and they help you keep a diet, has recipes, workout tapes, all that good stuff to help keep or get into shape...anyway i got side tracked, unless ALL you do is game, and you have the money to, then it's pointless to buy them all, like you said you don't play gamecube very much, so you bought it for one single game, and probably beat the game and got bored, so that's a total waste of money, and lets say you bought it for 10 games, well there mmm, 150 or so maybe i think 100 now, plus 50 times 10...plus 150 for xbox, 150 for playstation, even 5 games for each lets say, 50 times 5, 50 tims 5, equals im sure i made mistake, but it's a little over 1000 dollars when a few games, all the systems are added in, add in that most people want multiplayer so add a couple controllers, memory card for gamecube and playstation 2, at 20 bucks each as well as controllers at 20, lets redo the math...say 2 cards for ample room, 1 extra controller for each... in the end, it come out to around $1,300 dunno about you, but that's a bit much for just myself, considering i have a car to pay off, and also gas, lunch money, oh wow, i don't have a family to feed yet, but that would cost a lot im sure, as i know i go through tons of food, i mean that's an average setup for gaming, but even bare minimum would be expensive...if ur gonna spend that type of money, buy one system, bunch of games, all controller ports filled, good sized TV, great surround sound, but hey not my money ur messing with
