  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I personally try to avoid buying anime on e-bay. I did it once and was very upset when I receved it because all it was was a fansub. I have no problem with fansubs normally but this person who sold it to me (1) was making money off the work done by the fansubbers and (2) led people to believe that it wasn't fansubbed but the actual licened version.

Yeah, you do get that sometimes. I hope you reported it. They shouldn't be allowed to continue that.

As for the actual question: any good P2P downloading program (I reccomend WinMX) will get you the anime you want, providing you've got a fast connection and are willing to leave the PC on 24+ hours. But that's how I get a lot of stuff. Except if it's licensed, then it's kind of illegal o_O;;

Another option would be to go down to your local video shop and look there. In the UK, anime is practically like golddust to find, especially in region 2. But it's possible. Blockbusters had a copy of the Eva OVA in last time I was up. And Forbidden Planet is a good place for us Brits to shop for anime.

Have a look around ^_~ See what you can find. There's a lot out there when you think about it.

Yeah, the key is to look. Wal-Mart has SOME anime where I live. Often big bookstores like Books-A-Million or Barnes and Noble or Borders have manga readily available. Suncoast Videos also carries a lot of anime. I just ordered the complete series and movie 'Escaflowne' off of Amazon.com. I got exactly what I paid for, and it got to me in LESS than a week's time!
