This perspective I am referring to comes from putting God's Word into practice.
Ultimately it is the practice of trusting in God's lead no matter how painful, by contently submitting to His Providence because of the promises in His Word to do us eternal good through our temporary hardships. The following hymn expresses this very well:

Holy His will abideth.
I will be still whate’er He does,
And follow where He guideth.
He is my God,
Though dark my road.
He holds me that I shall not fall
Wherefore to Him I leave it all

Keep in mind I don't know any more about you than the few lines I've read in this thread, but from my limited point of view I think the fact is your perception is clouded and this is causing you pain - pain that is an absolute fact. Certainly you can agree there are many people in this world much worse off than you who are not feeling this pain. It just seems to me (and I fully admit I can be completely wrong) that it is more likely your fault than God's fault.

I think it's fantastic you had the courage to move across the country and start over. The fact that there is as yet no change in your pain does not mean that change is not on the way.

Change hasn't come in ten years regardless of what I've done.

Have you considered a Christian therapist to help you with direction?

Sometimes it’s slow. Maybe the move last year was to set you up for the future. Not to instantly give it to you.

I tried in the past and the one I called here never returned my call.
