Where should I go to party & dance ?

Dancing and partying is one my favourite hobbies. It makes me feel so good and it makes me happy. I’ve went to nightclubs and bars as a Christian and avoided dirty dancing most of the time but there have been a few times I fell into temptation and because of that i want to avoid those places to glorify God and avoid sin. But where else can I go to dance and party without being tempted into sin ?

I sympathise with your dance hobby; moving on music is just lovely ... can you locate places where people enjoy dance without it also being a place for 'pick-ups' / intoxication / etc. ?

Any places where that is common are to be avoided I'd say.

Dancing I understand. But what do you feel defines or constitutes "partying"?

I'm asking because technically, I don't think there's not much we can do "out there" that we can't already do at home simply by inviting a few friends over, turning up the music, breaking out the d'oeuvres and whatnot, playing games, dance a little (like very little, really-----trust me, you don't want to see me dance) and be a little wild and humorous, etc. Have a good time!

Once, long ago, I went to a dance-nightclub ....... and it bored me to tears. The music was insanely loud, preventing a good discussion, which is odd for me to say because---------I typically like loud music.

And, there were a bunch of people out on the dance floor hopping around, gesticulating repeatedly up and down and around, which isn't a bad thing if a person needs a bit of cardio for a while. But to do that for hours on end? Oh, heck no. I'd rather watch John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever another time than go to a nightclub again.

Yeah, nightclubs aren't for me. Not simply because there might be drugs and sin there amongst the ranks of the initiated.

No, it's just boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seeing you live in Ft Lauderdale I was wondering if you had a problem upstairs. I live in a small town and my Honey and I love to dance to Mexican music but no clubs. If you are afraid it will lead you somewheres why ask? I forgot to add house parties are good.

As far as dancing goes; join a community actors guild type group. (or a community / hobby dance studio). Then you can go out and perform with other people. I did something similar in college. Our voice class put on performances in nursing homes and stuff like that. It was a lot of fun!

Were not to get involved in worldly affairs. Documentation, read second Timothy chapter 2 .

Christian people should be profitable and productive Christian people. Documentation, Hebrew chapter 5 and James chapter 1.

God has no use for Christians who are wrapped up in ways of the world and illiterate of God's word. Get the picture. Amos chapter 5 to document.

God has no time for Christians who play church and give lip service. We can't play games with God.
