Yes, it seems clear rhat the message of what Jesus did in 32AD was not that he did miraculous things, but that he repeated exactly what the Elijah had done 800 years before.

The point being, that Christ was The Elijah, returned in 32AD:




They both did the same miracles, which was traditional supposed to identify Elijah when would come back:


Both Elijah and Jesus raised the dead

Both Elijah and Jesus were immortal.

Both Elijah and Jesus disappeared from the foot of a mountain

Both Elijah and Jesus ascended into Heaven before witnesses

Both Elijah and Jesus troubled Israel

Both Elijah and Jesus were hunted down by the Jewish authorities

Both Elijah and Jesus hid in a cave/tomb

Both Elijah and Jesus pondered in the wilderness 40 days

Both Elijah and Jesus walked on the water

Both wrote letters to people on Earth after they had ascended

Both appointed a successor, Elisha by Elijah, and Peter, by Christ.

Both were hunted by the Jewish authorities

Both gave a successor the power to raise the dead

Both gave a successor a symbolic authority, the cloak to one, the keys to the other

How do I know that the scientfic method really proves things to be true? Couldn't it just be another God? Another myth that seems right but could just be fairy tale as the atheists claim about us.

I'm tired of giving atheists a break. They always point to their scared God, the "scientific method," and then say to us "see it has to be true..." we can PROVE it.

I think that atheism has all the markers that would make up one of today's religions. But perhaps smartest of all... the atheists built in their "see it has to be true" scale to try to call everybody else stupid. Atheism has "sacred cows" I think such as the scientific method that they always point to and say IT MUST BE TRUE. Darwin is a God to many atheists, they just won't admit it cause then theyd be in the same camp as us jesus folk. And they would hate to do that.... .

christians balance the science and the ethics. science is good but it also can be dangerous (cloning?)

You did not answer my question, all you said is say what you think it is used for.

I'm asking you what you think it is. Explain to me what the scientific methode entails. What steps would you have to follow?

Also, you are aware that the scientific methode was developed by theists right? not atheists?
