I see nothing of the sort in the OP - I see an attempt by the OP to clarify what Gods intent for creation is and to point out that God doesnt author sin.
I don't think anyone has said or argued that God does author sin.
If you can find a place where that it argued, why don't you point it out?
I think those that have disputed the OP are critiquing the OP's conflation of "creating sinners" with "authoring sin".
God does, indeed, create sinners or people who sin (whatever phrasing you would like to use is fine by me).
God does no I find it sickening and sad for a staff member to accuse a member of being unchristian when its a guideline of this site to avoid such flames - she also pointed you to my post which quite frankly sums up her intention to begin with.
1.) I said no such thing. I did make an edit before you quoted my and changed "unChristian acts" to acts that go against the Gospel of our Lord but neither of which means that the person, themself, is unChristian.
2.) I have already recused myself from any and all actions within this thread because I find the entire loaded premise a sickening attempt to degrade a group of God's creatures so whether or not I am a member of staff does not matter as I am posting here as a concerned fellow Christian who is standing up for what I believe I should as a Christian and proclaiming the Gospel as I see it...
God is NOT the author of sin - WE ARE. Nowhere does IAR post imply or suggest that God didnt create people- its suggestion is that God didnt create people for the purpose of SIN.
The thread title implies that homosexuals were not created by God.
Maybe it's deliberately misleading; I don't know. It's certainly a loaded question as IAR readily conceded.
Now are you willing to state on this board that anyone who believes that homosexual lifestyles are a sin condition before God are unchistian and wrong and gnostic? If not- then you are unfairly condemning the op poster and not adressing the post but the PERSON and isnt that against the guidelines here????????????.
Again, though, you and IAR are conflating "creating sinners" with "authoring sin".
God, indeed, creates sinners. God does not author sin. If you want a theological explanation, I would recommend Plantinga's "Transworld Depravity"...
You can also find it pretty clearly in Romans...
