Given the current Supreme Court composition, hold on to your seats. I'm pretty sure eventually some religious organizations will says IUD's and oral contraceptives cause abortions and sue doctors and hospitals prescribing them.
Several courts, including the Supreme Court, have show no compulsion to tie their rulings to actual facts, so the fact that oral contraceptives (including "Plan B") do not and cannot induce abortions won't stop them from accepting a legal claim that they are abortifacants.

What about natural birth control. Like the program on most smart watches where they monitor temperature. My wife use to help women get pregnant by helping them understand their natural cycle and when they are futile.
Ah, the "rhythm method" long advocated by the Catholic Church. A favorite with couples who want large families.

It works. We know a lot of women with older husbands so their window of opportunity maybe limited to 24 hours. One women found out she was futile and told her husband when he came home from work but he was to tired or maybe to drunk to do anything about it. I guess he was ok in the morning because she did have that child. He should be graduating from High School soon. A lot of our friends have kids that are just getting started in college. I was a single parent for 12 years, so I really devoted myself to being a parent. I really do not understand why people would not want to have children. Not at all and often they can not tell me why.

Oral contraceptives can have serious side effects and risks, including:
  • Blood clots: Combination birth control pills (COCs) can increase the risk of deep vein thrombosis (DVT), or blood clots in the legs. Women who have had blood clots, an inherited blood-clotting disorder, or vein inflammation should avoid COCs. Women who are postpartum should also avoid COCs for the first 21 days, or 42 days if they have a higher risk of DVT.
  • Heart attack and stroke: COCs can increase the risk of heart attack and stroke, especially for smokers.
  • Liver disorders: COCs can cause liver disorders.

I had a blood clot in my heart. Good they found it or I may not be here having this conversation.

Statistically less dangerous than pregnancy.

But that is what pro-choice is. A decision between a woman (or couple) and her doctor.

I am happy you are doing what's best for you.

Nobody really cares how Americans feel. Do it again for religious and political leaders.
I just had to grab data for us all to look at. And it is true, politicians do not seem to care for what America feels.

Pregnancy is not that dangerous now a days. Women who have used oral contraceptives had a (7%) increase in the risk of breast cancer compared with women who had never used oral contraceptives. Women who were currently using oral contraceptives had a 24% increase in risk.

Although it is less of a risk compared to eating a Big Mac at McDonalds. You chance of heart disease from a high fat diet is high.

Technically, it’s no longer considered acceptable by the Church, only natural family planning is,

Plenty of pro life are for artificial contraceptives.

I don’t care if anyone uses birth control or what adults do in their own private bedroom.

Just don’t make it my business :)

Abortion is the termination of a pregnancy. Technically speaking, pregnancy does not begin until implantation, so drugs or other interventions which prevent implantation are not abortifacients.

Plan B actually works in the vast majority of cases by simply preventing ovulation or fertilization. Without going too much into the details, pregnancy is not instantaneous, it can take days to become pregnant. That gives a window for Plan B to work.

1 out of 6 pregnancies ends in miscarriage--but there are other conceptions that fail--naturally--before women are even aware they've conceived.

Millions of embryos lost, without any human intervention, sometimes with women making heroic attempts to save them.

Other species are also sometimes unable to carry to term. It's a biological fact.

BTW, Ps 139:16 mentions before the first day of the psalmist's life...most likely birth.

Yes. That’s nature. It’s sad, but it happens.

Very often, a woman has a miscarriage and doesn’t even realize it.

They just might assume it’s bad cramps.

It should be a choice.
There are even lesbians, who will never have sexual intercourse with a man, who use birth control to regulate their cycle among other things.

It’s not just about preventing conception.

The “pregnancy does not begin until implantation” is a political tactic made to defend contraception that isn’t condoms.

Actually, it is the accepted medical definition of pregnancy and has been for a long time. Anyway, people don't need a "political tactic" to use any kind of birth control they want.

And homosexuality was removed as a mental illness for a long time.

And the reason why, was because there is political strategy in changing the medical definition of things.

Sodomites needed to remove homosexuality as a mental illness, not to sleep with each other, but to push their agenda and make it more palatable to the average person and enhance their rights.

Or maybe it's just not a mental illness.

No reason they shouldn't have the same rights as anyone else.

So them changing the medical definition after the Stonewall Riots is just a coincidence? There wasn’t any political pressure to change the medical definition?
No reason they shouldn't have the same rights as anyone else.
Technically they did, you just don’t understand what equal rights entail.

Pedophiles have equal rights. They can date and marry adults, not prepubescent children.

Sodomites always had the right to marry someone of the opposite sex. Just because they prefer to fulfill their perversion doesn’t mean they didn’t have equal rights.
