I prefer to read the news, mostly on Yahoo. But they have too many Huffington Post stories.

When I watch the news on TV I find that I can tolerate Fox News a bit longer than I can CNN.
If I am in the car I listen to NPR. The reporting that is, of course there are opinion portions of the show but they do have the virtue of identifying said portions as such. On TV, I usually catch the PBS Newshour which is easily the best national news program going. As far as current events discussions it is hard to beat the Mclaughlin Group. As for print/web I like the NYT and the WSJ as well as the Daily Telegraph and the Economist in the UK. Its important to get an international perspective because Americans tend to be isolated from the larger word in my opinion. The sources I cited are good for a thinking Christian to hear all sides even those who are biased against our position so one knows what the other side is arguing for or against. What I do not like are non-stop cable news outlets like MSNBC, CNN, Fox News since they tend to create and maintain echo chambers.

Usually from local news stations.
