Unanimous decision. The judges are Gary Katzmann (Obama appointee), Jane Restani (Reagan appointee), and Timothy Reif (Trump appointee). So the whole "liberal activist judges" line ain't gonna work for MAGA.

Trump would just claim, that anyone votes against him , tells the truth about how bad Trump is. Trump just claims the person is bad or against him/ the country . Then he gets his supporters against the person.

Exactly right. Trump keeps rambling on about bringing manufacturing back to the US. It's something of a pipe dream in any case, but what manufacturer is going to build a factory to build Widgets if they don't know how much they'll have to a pay on the tariffs on the imported materials and parts and don't know if their export market is going to be hit with reciprocal tariffs?

Anyone who had an agenda to hit US manufacturing hard would be doing exactly what Trump is doing now.

Yes, not just America either. These system changes are affecting economies negatively worldwide. Too much and too far in tariffs and negative talk, except in the cases of those clearly aligned against USA interests.

The part that gets to me about Trump's "Truth" (Truth Social Post) is how he claims, "Under this decision, Trillions of Dollars would be lost by our Country," I'm sorry, what trillions of dollars -- the ones paid by American taxpayers and businesses in the form of Trump making the largest tax increase in US history in the form of tariffs? Besides, isn't Trump's alleged opinion (at least when he talks about lowering taxes on businesses and the wealthy) is that Americans keeping their money is better than the government get it -- so why is trillions from US citizens "lost" if they get to keep it?

Trump needs to realize that you can't always use "emergency" powers just because you try to create some idea of an emergency. Creating tariffs belongs to Congress and it is not wrong of the courts to point that out.

It also appears that the only reason the "stay" was issued was because Trump promised that any tariffs collected will be returned, if the court rules against him. Of course, that doesn't help with any trade lost because Trump keeps playing around with tariffs, or do anything to help the US businesses that lose money because of the tariff policy until this case is ultimately decided.

If the United States were forced to unwind these historic agreements, the President believes that a forced dissolution of the agreements could lead to a 1929-style result. In such a scenario, people would be forced from their homes, millions of jobs would be eliminated, hard-working Americans would lose their savings, and even Social Security and Medicare could be threatened.

Wait - did anyone other than Donald J Trump himself seriously think that tariffs were going to be real revenue to replace income taxes?

I believe that broad-based are the tariffs at issue. The other punitive taxes to punish a country and bully them are legal.
