I think we have *one* maternity store on the island, and it's at least an hour away, so I'm wondering what stores you girls buy from online?

I know this seems really early to even be *thinking* about maternity clothes, but when I need maternity clothes it'll be November/December and I won't be able to get any summer clothes at that point, even in stores here, which is what I'll need because the weather here is always warm.

Have you checked if your Old Navy has a maternity section? Ours does. Also regular department stores have maternity sections although I didn't had much luck with them in my size.... actually lots of stores carry maternity but its major hit and miss, just a few things, but I'd start there.

Then now is a great time to buy as most stores are having sales to get rid of summer stuff to make room for fall/winter.

I like tops from Motherhood Maternity (here's there sale). I'm still undecided about how I feel about their pants...they're not my favorite.

I also like Target, JC Penney, and Old Navy.

I used to have a link for a place that used real Levi's and made them into maternity jeans, but I can't find it now. I got 2 pairs of Levi's from them that were Incredibly comfortable and didn't Look maternity...

Target for tops occasionally.

Motherhood Maternity has cute stuff, but the quality is Very up & down. If you buy anything from MM, then wash it in cold water and hang it to dry.

I had to mail order (and once the internet got going, internet order) Everything. El Paso had one maternity store for probably a century with horrible selection. I chose to not look frumpy while pregnant. ;) lol

I would check if the stores in your area have anything online. If you order something online most stores will let you return it to the store if it doesn't fit. I did this with JCPennys. They had more of a selection online and if anything didn't work I just returned it to the store at my local mall.

Any good resale shops in your area?

My selection of stores here is Sears, Hot Topic, Wal-Mart, K-Mart, and the PX, none of which have much of a maternity section, if at all.
We don't have JCPenney's, Old Navy, Gap, or Target.... :( We do have a Goodwill but I checked and couldn't find any maternity clothing there. I have a feeling I'll have to do most of my shopping online. Luckily a lot of places are doing end-of-summer sales so hopefully I'll be able to get some stuff before it's all winter clothes. :)

Thanks for the websites -- I'll be checking them out! :)
