The behavior is certainly disgusting (at pride patades), but not the people themselves.
Have you been to a pride parade?

Yes, I’ve seen Some Like it Hot, Mrs. Doubtfire, Rocky Horror Picture Show, But I’m a Cheerleader, Brokeback Mountain, Beautiful Thing, among others. I have no problem.
Ah. So both your outrage and your phobia is selective.

Gay person at a bar? Bad. Flaunting their gayness.
Drag queen in any scenario? Bad. The poor children.
Drag queen in a library? Bad. Illicit. Disgusting.

Tim Curry in drag? No problem. Let's do the Time Warp again, baby!
Ms. Doubtfire? No problem. Get her to watch the kids.

You see why we can't take you seriously on this topic? Because you're just all over the place. Going to a drag queen story hour has you go apoplectic, but Rocky Horror and you're like "hey, whatever." There is no logic to your stance.

I respect people’s right to live as they want. Period. I still believing they are harming themselves spiritually, nonetheless, but they will answer to GOD ALONE for their sinful lifestyles, nor me.
You can't call people disgusting and then say you respect their right to live as they want. You can't say they shouldn't be around children but you respect their right to live as they want. You can't say they're delusional and still say you respect their right to live as they want. People who respect people's rights to live their life as they want don't do any of those things.

I never ONCE called anyone a pedophile. Period.
You have said on this thread and repeatedly on others that they shouldn't be around children, that they go for children, etc etc. You're being deeply disingenuous.

Lack of knowledge? I graduated magna cum laude, with my degree in psychology, thank you very much.
Congrats. What on earth does that have to do with the price of eggs?

Stop. Now. I will never go to a pride parade because that’s immensely sinful. There is no “phobia” because I believe LGBT et al is seriously sinful. I’m a Christian and have Christian values. Period. I will not stand for personal attacks.

Yes, I’m aware of how sexual orientation works, and I’m aware of so called gender identity.
Not "so called." It is called. That is what it is. And again, you can say "I know how it works" all you want, but all that proves is you believe you know how it works. It doesn't show you do know how it works and, in fact, a lot of what you've said show you do not, in fact, know how it works.
I will state drag and drag queens are different. Mrs. Doubtfire was an unattractive 60 year old grandma like woman. She’s not dressed like so called drag queens today. If that makes any sense?
So your issue is that if they're dressing up as old grandmas, then it's ok, but if they're too attractive, now they're drag queens and inappropriate?

I bet they'll be thrilled that the same arbitrary standards that rule women's clothes apply to them as well.
As long as things are age appropriate, I have no problem. I just don’t understand the purpose of DQSH, because it’s just odd.

Thanks for the input, regardless.
It's a bright, colorful person wearing bright, colorful things, with a HUGE personality coming and hyping the kids up about reading. It's theatrics. It's imagination. It's a situation to be loud, boisterous, engaged, with somebody who outwardly expresses themselves in a way that looks loud, boisterous, and engaged. It's no different than when Disney princesses come to birthday parties, teachers dress up for Dr. Seuss day, libraries have sorting hat parties... They want people to be excited about reading. Seeing somebody who looks so totally not like what the average person looks like, who acts in a way that's bigger than the average person acts, who emotes in ways that average person doesn't... It's fun.

Is it because they are fun and entertaining, right?
Absolutely. His dress lit up, for goodness sakes. How is that not freaking cool. He looked incredible and funny as all get out. I honestly thought I was going to pass out he had me laughing so hard.

And guess what? I didn't catch gay or trans. Still boring old me.

So then you can't speak about what goes on there. You can only say based off of the information others have fed you about them, which is delivered through whatever agenda they're trying to press on you, is that you think they're sinful. You haven't determined it based off of what you know, but what others know and have told you. So you arrived at your position based on what somebody else wants you to believe.
There is no “phobia” because I believe LGBT et al is seriously sinful. I’m a Christian and have Christian values. Period. I will not stand for personal attacks.
It's not a personal attack. You present an extreme reaction about them, which we can all see. You act like somebody with a phobia.

As you said earlier (repeatedly) it's not rude to say somebody has a disorder because they're trans because you believe it's a real disorder, nor to remark on somebody having depression because it's a real condition. Phobias are real conditions, so to simply declare I thought you had one towards drag queens based on your behavior Is not rude nor is it an attack.

Seriously, what an odd thing to think qualifies as an attack...

I'm a Christian too, with Christian values. Are you implying because I don't feel or react like you do about LGBTQA+ people, I'm not a Christian with Christian values? Because that's an interesting thing for a moderator to imply...

I never implied you weren’t Christian. I’m far more traditional and have traditional views on sexual ethics. So yes, lgbt et al, drag queens, et al, are sinful and it deeply offends God.

Don’t put words in my mouth.

MOD HAT ON

This thread is permanently closed.

There's just a little too much commentary in support of transgenderism and a little too much commentary on site policies regarding the subject here. That's enough issues to leave this one locked up.
