Humm. I am sure if someone called you delusional you would not take it so well.
There are other ways to get your point across without being hurtful. Maybe explore, if willing.

Reading the comments in the link, there does seem to be some critical comments allowed on there. At least as "mean" as the one you tried posting. Although maybe the AI mod couldn't pick up on that given the wording?

Personally, I have no issue with the comment you tried posting, as long as your statements come from a genuine heart. Others might find them "mean" but that's just the reality of people having different perspectives. Now if you referred to trans people as "freaks" or used transphobic slurs in your post that would be more uncalled for.

Trans people and allies certainly say just as mean or harsher stuff at people who do not automatically and uncritically affirm them. Which I personally find offensive. Even then.. I am for their free speech too.

Whether they are true words is up for debate, but it is saddening how many seem to think if something is disturbing to them it can't possibly be true. This criticism applies to both the left and the right.

Given this, I am wary of people who try to control social circles with pleas of kindness and their own ideas of respect. As a former Christian who was hurt by my former faith I am sensitive to anything that can hinder the pursuit of wanting understanding things as they are.. the idea that the way things are cannot be deeply disturbing is just a blind spot. Why should I waste my time with it?

You can give it but can you take it in return? Many would say the same about your belief in something you can neither see or touch that you’ve built your life around. If they called you delusional would you be offended?
