Incorrect. There was a whole council on the Orthodox side defining what grace is.

Regardless, denying these truths and classifying them as heretical shows that the Orthodox is not the true church.

I would say the Catholic Church and the Orthodox church know grace far better than any calvinist could even begin to understand. IMHO calvisnism is the exact opposite of truth and grace

According to the Council of Massalia in 378 - Calvinism is correct!

( :sorry: Okay, I completely made that up, but some folks just need others to tell them what to believe so I created an outside authority to do so.)

So find calvinism in the ECF and the Church councils
Not even St. Augustine could be considered a "Calvinist" since he didn't believe in Eternal Security :
"If, however, being already regenerate and justified, he relapses of his own will into an evil life, assuredly he cannot say, “I have not received”, because of his own free choice to evil he has lost the grace of God, that he had received." Treaties on Rebuke and Grace, p.9

Calvinist do not hold to "eternal security." Not historically. St. Thomas on the assurance of salvation from a Catholic source.

St. Thomas Aquinas on Assurance of Salvation

Seems, according to the OP, that I am "high calvinist;" albeit I don't think the definition of "hyper-calvinist" is correct. Man cannot know who the elect are until regeneration has made itself evident in the elected believer (from man's point of view, not God's), and therefore the gospel must at least be preached to all.

I try not to get into any camp more than 90%.
God could fool me.

We love John Calvin's writings.
John MacArthur -- excellent preacher.
RC Sproul -- a theologian.
Jay Vernon Macgee -- a good teacher.

I don't believe in the Catholic Saint Thomas Aquinas.
And St. Augustine shows he didn't believe in OSAS

I posted what Calvinists/Reformed Christian believe and it isn't OSAS. ([bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse]st, it's the image I attached to the post)

Good for you! Catholic Saint Thomas doesn't believe in the schismatic Orthodox Church either.

You call the Orthodox Church "schismatic" yet you oppose the Pope? I think that is actually worse.

Thomas Aquinas would call you schismatic. You'd call him schismatic.

So much for 'holy tradition' being unified.

More unified than Reformed Christianity. Is it 5 point Calvinism? 4 point? Reformed Baptist? Neocalvinist? Westboro Baptist? Presbyterian Church USA?

And we will see more coming next!
