As you were headed toward your 20s, what goals did you have? Where did you think you would be in your 20s?

Now that you're in your 20s, have you accomplished any of your goals? Are you where you thought you would be? If it's different, is it better or worse than where you thought you would be pre 20s?

Is anything like you thought it would be? Lol

Love this question! You are really opening up my brain today!
As a teenager I had a million and one goals. I thought by now I'd have finished college, started my career, possibly engaged or married! I even wanted to be pregnant by now.. Which is funny because now I don't think I want kids.

I haven't accomplished any of my life goals yet. I'm nowhere near where I thought I would be. I don't think it's better or worse than what I wanted, it's just different in a positive way. I'm learning the value of starting at the bottom and having to work your way up. It's been a very valuable lesson moving out at 19 instead of going to school like my friends. I still have a ton of ambition and I want to keep moving forward!

I really like taking photos, I wanted to be a photographer. But it is really hard to be famous and be really good at it. It was not a question for me, I went to college. Next semester will be my last, with only 2 subjects (one of them is swimming which I have to do ) and final things, final exams etc. (I will be a technical manager) I think I'll stay for master's. So this is about my 'career'.

I had depression, panic disorder and some other mental issues, but it's much much better now, thank God, in a few months I would like to be completely healthy again.

Long journey with lots of goals.

When I was headed to my twenties, my goal was each day! Going to school, etc, annnd making it threw each day! As far as where I thought I would be in my 20s ...I don't think I spent a lot of time thinking too far ahead, but, I was always hopeful for the future! And now that I'm in the last year of my 20s ....I see how much I have matured, and how much I've grown in Christ since age 20! Which is the bestest, most wonderful thing ever!!!
