I had personal, close friends whom I've hurt because of my hypocrisy.
I have many regrets.

Always a thing to strive towards.

Speaking of striving:
And is the faith of not believing in a literal Genesis greater, lesser or equal to believing in a literal Genesis?

And even with addressing your claim, why is then that all the major Christian denominations do not adhere to a literal reading of the Bible, especially Catholicism?

the same as I did for the big advocate of
last thursdayism here,
who has followed me around for years complaining
about being ignored.

Post reported to administration.

I warned you about accusing me of Last Thursdayism.

You greatly overestimate the Importance of your
chosen view.

Sure there’s vested interest in the nature of reality.
Geology for one has huge economic importance.
We in China have a huge interest in what is real,
rational, evidenced, and works.

Most in China, Japan, and Korea * don’t even know
there’s some sect of a foreign religion that thinks
their god made everything in six days, and they- we-
certainly dont care.

All our science, pitted against your personally chosen beliefs?
Surely, you’re joking!

* check our student achievement levels compared to
that of American students.
How does 'Ignore' function even work on this site? I'm still getting notifications?

You appear not to lnow what the words assumption, fact, or
evidence mean.

if you ever go to court theres a very
painful shock coming your way.
How so?
To my knowledge,
  1. the Bible book of Genesis records the flood of Noah's day as an event that occured in the history of mankind. This is verified in several scriptures throughout the Bible.
  2. the characters - Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth, have their genealogy recorded in the same book, and also in other books of the Bible, including the Gospel of Luke... or is it Matthew. One of the two, but if this court ever becomes serious, I will gladly lay all that evidence on the table.
  3. Jesus Christ is considered a real historical figure... never mind the skeptics do not think he was the son of God, and other things written about him, but Jesus Christ of the Bible, testifies to that flood account being a real historical event. He even testifies to Adam and Eve being created by God. Because professed Christians deny this, does not mean the Bible does not say these thing. They cannot change the facts as they please, to fit their faithlessness.
When you are ready, call the court to order, and let's see what evidence you have against these fact.
I am sure I would not be the surprised one.

The only thing that need to be investigated, is the evidence that God authored the Bible, and I believe there is pretty solid evidence, that I can present for this, which would demonstrate it is not assumed.

Actually, the claim you made that I appear not to know what the words assumption, fact, or
evidence mean, is false, and I just proved it.
The seconds following this post, will also demonstrate that you cannot defend your claim with anything more than another claim, or personal comment.

Yes, I know.

And Mark gets quoted a lot in academic circles, doesn't he?

I would not know. You're the one who seems to know every jot, tittle and thought of academia, this monstrous monolithic group that seems wholly bent on slighting you and you alone.

QV please:

Yes, the bogus definition of faith from the Bible. Mark Twain had a much more accurate definition:

"Faith is believing something you know ain't true."

... I don't know how to respond to that, will not lie.

You work so hard not to understand me, and you're so good at it, I don't doubt for one minute you don't know the difference between Last Thursdayism, Embedded Age, and YEC.

May I please ask you to quote Warden's question to me, verbatim?
If you know which question you want you can quote it yourself. I do not know what question you are referring to.

The first two are very much the same thing, AV. And yes, you are definitely a YEC no matter how hard you try and vehemently deny it.

Hence why I said "Six of one, half a dozen of the other".

Well if you have me on ignore, then that doesn't work since I can still get you @-ing me... which is a very bad oversight on this website's ignore function since it very much defeats the point of it really.

But if you want the question, I'll just do it here:
And is the faith of not believing in a literal Genesis greater, lesser or equal to believing in a literal Genesis?

And even with addressing your claim, why is then that all the major Christian denominations do not adhere to a literal reading of the Bible, especially Catholicism?
