Run it through a computer and see what explanation the computer comes up with as to how the earth recovered itself from a global flood within a week's time.
I'll bet it will go 404.
Then patch that 404 with the Bible, and see what the computer comes up with.
Here...I'll help you with that. Here's the response I received when asking ChatGPT "How were the ice age floods determined to be 10000 years ago"I haven't the faintest idea.
Natural history isn't my bag.
It's too full of lies and inaccuracies.
Not funny at all.
The Bible ends the history of the earth circa AD 100.
This Pacific northwest flood came about centuries later -- if it happened at all.
Nonsensical commentary aside, we have the data.
Sure you do.
Sure you do.
Together, these methods provided a robust timeline that suggests the Ice Age floods occurred approximately 10,000 to 15,000 years ago, marking a significant period in Earth's geological history.
Except that we have evidence that there was a flood in the Pacific Northwest. The evidence is shown in the video.
Uh -- huh.
First he shows ripples on the beach caused by WIND.
Then he shows similar-looking ripples on a much larger scale.
But since the wind can't be the cause of that, they just say WATER did it.
Then, to account for the water, they come up with glaciers to provide the water.
Glaciers that, of course, melted.
So ... to recap ...
1. Start with ripples in the sand on the beach, caused by wind.
2. Change the sand to rocks.
3. Change the wind to water.
4. Add glaciers to provide the water.
5. Assume the glaciers melted.
6. Expand the decimal place of time out one decimal place to allow for 10,000 years.
And there you have it.
Some guy doing a two-minute explanation of a guy flying over some rock formation in a hang glider, acting like he's some kind of know-it-all.
Arrogance thy name is AV.
Call me arrogant, if you want to.
But you won't see me lying on the beach in a long-sleeve shirt and bow tie watching a bug walk across ripples caused by the wind.
It's how geology is done. I've participated in 1,2 and a modified 5. The reason for a modified 5 is because of the Columbia River Basalt flows which I've also spent some time on. Both the Ice Age Floods and the Basalt flows have had major impacts on the geology of the Pacific Northwest. The Palouse Falls are an example, there are others, where the violence of the Floods carved out the basalt to form an important feature of the channeled scab lands created by the Floods. I'd expect to see similar geological evidence of a Noah Global flood but in a much larger scale. But, none exist.Ask ChatGPT how many tries it took to get all that information to fit into one neat information package that scientists from different disciplines would all agree with?

And arrogance and ignorance make perfect bedfellows...
So do science and intolerance.
Firstly, the video talks about Ice Age ripples, whereas we are talking about 3000 BCE, so there were no Ice Age-type water flows at 3000 BCE, hence the parallel does not make sense.Floods leave distinctive geological evidence behind. Among other things, current ripples provide some of that physical evidence. The supposed size and violence of the Noah's flood would have left behind humongous size current ripples all over the Earth surface. But they simply don't exist. There's a lot of different kinds of geological features one sees in floods that simply are not there when looking for evidence of a Noah type global flood. Current ripples are one of those missing features.
The video below provides a good but short teaching tool on current ripples created by the Ice Age Floods that ran through the Pacific Northwest. In my time studying the Ice Floods I've seen these ripples. Nick Zentner teaches geology at Central Washington University. I've learned a lot of Pacific Northwest geology from him. Enjoy the learning lesson.

Secondly, Noah's flood was by no means humongous or large. It was probably a smaller flood in a smaller area, but its grandeur arose because those people made a valiant response and they spread after that flood across the world. So, we need not extrapolate backward that Noah's flood was huge.
Let me ask a related question. Do you believe that a giant meteor struck the earth at the site of the Chicxulub crater? This is believed to be behind the mass extinction event that wiped out dinosaurs. Where are the "ripples" left behind from that?Floods leave distinctive geological evidence behind. The patronization is very cringe. Now we're getting somewhere.
Now, if those sorts of floods leave evidence, then a global flood would undoubtedly leave evidence, especially in places that were not subject to the same geography as in glacial dams that burst. Like finding current ripples in the middle of the Mongolian steppes or the Kalahari or Patagonia. Wide open places that were nowhere near glaciers.
As an example.
But of course... God cleaned everything up...
Nothing on earth is consistent with genesis flood.Let me ask a related question. Do you believe that a giant meteor struck the earth at the site of the Chicxulub crater? This is believed to be behind the mass extinction event that wiped out dinosaurs. Where are the "ripples" left behind from that?
Although the timing is not consistent with the apparent timing outlined in the Bible, I think this meteor strike is the same event as the Biblical Noah's flood.
